Millie caught a glimpse of the news about herself on Arthur’s iPad, displayed in a large font. “Winston Holds Umbrella for Millie at Luminous Grand Hotel Entrance Amid Rain”

Millie thought, “What a romantic headline.”

“Did you two make up?” Arthur was concerned.

Millie found this topic troubling. “No, I accidentally ran into him.”

While speaking, Millie felt slightly guilty as it didn’t seem believable.

Arthur pointed at Millie and warned, “You are not allowed to have any further contact with him, do you understand?”

Millie nodded obediently.

Arthur asked, “How many days are left in the one–month cooling–off period?”

“It’s only been two or three days,” Millie pouted and thought Arthur was so eager for her to divorce Winston.

Arthur said solemnly, “Great. You still have control over your thoughts. You’d be a coward if you didn’t go through with the divorce after a month.”

Millie was left speechless. ‘Grandpa, why don’t you simply cancel my ID card? It seems like you’re implying that I don’t want to get a divorce.”

Millie took a big bite of her sandwich and shot a challenging look at Arthur. To her surprise, he returned her gaze with an even more intense expression.

“Alas. Grandpa, don’t worry. I’ve changed. I’m different now,” said Millie, patting Arthur’s shoulder before running off. This backyard wasn’t a good place to stay. She should go for a walk.

“Hey, Mills! Don’t forget the Aspher that I want. It’s been so long,” Arthur shouted behind her.

Millie paused, realizing that she needed to locate Aspher for Arthur. Unfortunately, there was no Aspher at the M base. Where else could she search for Aspher?

Millie’s phone suddenly rang

She was stunned when she saw it.

Another text message soon came through. “Let’s race?

Millie frowned, contemplating the identity of the sender. How did the person know she was Seven? She tried to call the number back, only to find that the call could not be connected. Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

Then, she received another text again. “Don’t call me. I won’t answer. I’m hiding in the dark while you’re

out there.”

Millie rolled her eyes and immediately blocked the number. Evidently, this guy was far too immature to even consider attempting to threaten her.

However, Millle pondered the situation and suddenly grew concerned. This person knew that she was

Seven.

What if her identity was exposed? If she exerted herself to explain that Seven was not her, would. everyone believe her?

Millie was lost in thought when she suddenly received another text. This time, it was from someone she knew, Hazel. “Mills, big news!”

Millie glanced at the message and yawned, unbothered by its content. Nothing could disrupt her weekend

rest.

When she was about to turn off her phone, another message from Hazel appeared on the screen. This text message compelled Millie to cancel her weekend plans and hurry to the hospital right away.

Her text read, “Mills, something has happened to Joanna. She has been exposed for falsifying her medical school degree. The hospital is currently conducting a meeting to address this issue, and all the Lowells are present. It’s quite a dramatic situation.”

Millie tightly gripped the phone, feeling tense. Joanna’s medical school degree had just been revealed as a complete forgery. She had believed that this secret had been known only to her and

the Lowells.
