Chapter 1312 Trading The Divine Patterns

Chapter 1312 Trading The Divine Patterns

Before Finley could crush the pill, Darren stopped him at once.

"I've talked to your real body about this. He told me that the pill belongs to you. It wasn't meant to help

you," Darren said.

"Belongs to me?" Finley was confused.

"Well, that probably means it's safe to take it," Lindsay said.

Upon hearing her suggestion, Finley accepted the pill without hesitation. He wondered what his real

body meant when he said the pill belonged to him.

He popped the pill into his mouth and let it melt on his tongue. It didn't have any taste at all. Suddenly,

something seemed to brew inside his body. It was as if some strong wind was filling him up and

spreading throughout his meridians.

"It's talent!"

This sensation ran through his meridians until it reached his mind.

He suddenly felt refreshed. He could feel his talent growing quickly.

At the same time, strange godly energy rushed into his body. It helped improve his physical strength

and enhance his cultivation base.

"This..." Despite all these, however, he didn't feel happy at all. If this enhanced strength and talent

wasn't his real body's idea of help, then what was it?

"Stop worrying about it. I took all these things from you over the past years. All of these used to be

yours."

Just as his mood started plummeting, his real body's cold voice echoed inside his mind.

"This explains why my cultivation base takes so long to improve despite my hard work." He smiled

wryly and continued, "You can extract my cultivation base, but you can never touch my talent. The pill

you gave me had increased it. So technically, you're helping me already, isn't it?"

"Idiot! We share the same soul, so that means we have the same level of talent. But since you're only a

piece of the soul, you only inherited a part of the talent. When you entered the Primitive Wilderness,

your soul was slowly becoming whole again. Thus, your talent began improving as well. I took a part of

that talent from you, but now I have returned it. From now on, I won't interfere with your affairs

anymore. So you better take care then."

The cold voice filled Finley's head. As soon as it finished talking, it began to fade away.

He felt relieved upon hearing his real body's explanation.

"You've finally reached the top level of the Domain God Realm, Finley! This is amazing!" Darren

exclaimed as soon as he sensed Finley's cultivation level.

"Humph. I knew there was something wrong with my pace when it comes to developing my strength.

Now that I have my cultivation base and talent back, I'm sure it'll be easier for me to grow my power."

"What's your current level of talent now?"

"The top level of the Spiritual Domain Degree. My real body told me that my talent can increase further

if my soul becomes whole. I may even reach the same level as my real body," Finley said proudly.

"Not bad. That means we both have the same level now. If what you're saying is true, then your real

talent must be terrifying!" Darren enthused.

"Of course it is." Finley nodded his head.

"You two are still too weak. My talent is currently in the Divine Domain Degree, and you're still too far

behind me." Lindsay looked at them casually.

"Is the Divine Domain Degree the highest level of talent in the world?" Darren asked curiously.

"Of course not," she replied. "As far as I know, the level beyond the Divine Domain Degree is the

Extreme Domain Degree. And beyond the Extreme Domain Degree, it's said that there is a Supreme

Degree talent which is the most powerful talent in the world."

"Are you sure?"

"Not really." She rolled her eyes at Darren and continued, "I've only heard it from my father. I don't

know if it's true or not. One thing's for sure though. My father said no one had ever reached the top

level Supreme Degree talent since this world was born."

"In your opinion, what kind of talent do Finley's real body and Lord Starry Sword have?" Darren asked.

"I guess their talent is at the primary stage of the Supreme Degree. Only real supreme gods can

surpass that. Supreme God Braxton is one. His talent is at the middle stage of the Supreme Degree

talent," Lindsay answered.

Wordlessly, Darren and Finley nodded their head.

'It seems like my talent is far from enough, ' Darren thought to himself.

In fact, his talent should have been higher than the top level of the Spiritual Domain Degree. But the

void in his mind had absorbed most of the talents he assimilated. As a result, he couldn't get pass his

current level despite the number of talents he had assimilated.

Fortunately, his black god's power had grown stronger every time the black void swallowed his talent.

Moreover, his physical body and cultivation base had improved, so his combat power was stronger Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

than ever.

"Where do you think we should go now, Darren?" Lindsay asked after taking a break.

"We'll have to keep trying to sell the divine patterns. Our goal is to get out of the Tussle Region soon,"

he replied without hesitation.

"Oh right. Elsa is waiting outside. I wonder how she is now." Finley knew that Darren must be very

worried about her.

Darren remained silent as a bitter feeling spilled out of his heart. Without saying a word, he took off with

Lindsay and Finley closely behind him. They were heading straight to the Zhou's Divine Pattern Firm.

It took them several days of flying before they could see a city ahead.

Murphy had mentioned that they could find the Zhou's Divine Pattern Firm inside it.

They landed at the entrance of the city where they paid a certain amount of killing points before

entering. Once inside, they grabbed a booklet of rules that introduced them to the forces inside the city.

It also contained some taboo rules.

"This city is apparently under the jurisdiction of the Purple Phoenix Sect. However, I find the rules

unreasonable. It says here that fighting is allowed in the city, but outsiders aren't allowed to kill anyone

from the Purple Phoenix Sect. Those who go against it will be executed!" Lindsay was unhappy with

the booklet as well.

"This rule is too much. Does this mean any member of the Purple Phoenix Sect can kill us, but we

can't?" Finley, on the other hand, seemed angry by this.

"Unfortunately, we don't have any choice. This is their turf. All we can do now is keep a low profile and

not cause any trouble." Deep down, Darren also felt helpless.

The Purple Phoenix Sect was directly under the Tussle Holy House. Their overall strength was

average, but they had several warriors at the Celestial God Realm. They even had a lot of warriors at

the top level of the Star God Realm. It wouldn't be wise to provoke them.

Aside from the Purple Phoenix Sect, there were two other great clans in the Sky Void City. Those clans

had their own privileges. One was the Zhou Clan who ran the Zhou's Divine Pattern Firm.

"Let's go. We need to trade the divine patterns as soon as possible, and then leave this place."

As they were walking down the street, they noticed how people seemed to be in a hurry. It seemed like

most of them were also travelers who came here to trade.

They remained quiet the whole time when they walked in the city. They didn't even bother looking

around.

Finally, they stopped in front of a building.

"Welcome to the Zhou's Divine Pattern Firm. This way, please,"

a cultivator from the top level of the Star God Realm greeted them politely.

Darren and his companions nodded in acknowledgement before entering the building.

"Where do we proceed if we're planning to sell some divine patterns?" Lindsay asked as soon as they

walked in.

The entire room was quiet. Those who were inside turned their heads to look at them as soon as they

heard her.

"Alas." The clerk who had led them in sighed. "It seems like some people are going to die again."

Shaking his head, he walked into a chamber.
