Linda only promised not to send the photos to Charlie's wife, but she never agreed to drop the lawsuit.

Ava wiped her hands. "Mr. Wilson and Mr. Lynch just took Lexi out."

happening, she heard Lexi's voice. "Mommy. Mommy, I'm here!"
"Why didn't you tell me before you went out to play?" Linda asked.

Samson had taken a few days off from work and said he had
some matters to handle. Linda hadn't realized he was at home.
"Lexi, please repeat what you said to Mommy," William said as he bent down to comfort Lexi.
Linda frowned.

"What's going on?" Linda asked Samson softly.
Samson leaned in, whispering, "I'll explain later when we're upstairs. It's not convenient to talk about it here."
"Okay," she replied.
