Never Blinded by Love (Linda and Wilson)

Never 203

Chapter 203

Charlie finally gave up after realizing that Samson and Linda before him would not be easily swayed.

The things Charlie had at his disposal were meaningless to them. All he could do was accept their demands or the consequences would be unimaginable.

Charlie was now in his current position after years of hard work and sacrifice. Handing over everything that he had worked so hard to achieve so quickly was something that no one would do.

He couldn't deny that Linda had described him accurately. He really liked Sarah. However, when it came to choosing between feelings and power, everyone would choose power instead. Love was fleeting. It was akin to a momentary illusion. If someone took that as something eternal, they must be desperate for love. Moreover, as the president of CJ Media, he could have anyone he

wanted.

Linda had finished her meal and didn't want to waste any more time. She said, "I heard from my company's manager that your production team is skilled, Mr. Jenkins."

She might not have expressed her intentions loud and clear, but Charlie knew what she meant. "Ms. Felix, why aim for my lifeline?" he asked.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

"The production team is the only valuable item that I can use. I wouldn't be here today if that was not the case," she answered.

She was also someone who prioritized her interests.

Charlie knew he had no other choice. "If you mean what you said,

Ms. Felix, you can take the team at any time."

"I always mean what I say," she continued, damaging the USB drive that had Charlie's incriminating photos before him. Then, she

dropped the fragments into the mushroom soup.

Charlie finally felt a sense of relief. "Well then, here's to a successful partnership:"

Linda and Samson left the room, leaving Charlie ione in the private dining area.

"If you need a production team, you can just tell me. I can find one for you." Samson was puzzled by why Linda went through all that trouble to get a team.

"You don't get it. Charlie's production team is exceptional. It's not that my current team isn't good, but their overall capabilities just aren't at that level yet," Linda replied.

Building a production team wasn't something money alone could achieve. Everyone needed to work seamlessly with a consistent style and a level of excellence.

Linda had always wanted to create a team like that, but it had been put on hold for various reasons. She only learned about Charlie's team thanks to Lina, who seemed to know everything.

"For Charlie to give it up so easily, I guess it's not that impressive. If it's really his ace, he wouldn't be able to easily offer it to you," Samson remarked.

"CJ Media hasn't produced many films, so no one's noticed how strong that team is yet," Linda explained, knowing that each

company had its focus areas.

He didn't fully understand what she meant, but he said, "If you think it's the right move, then just follow your instincts. I'll always support you."

"Of course," she replied.

Although Charlie had relinquished his production team, Linda didn't withdraw the lawsuit against Charlie.
