Meanwhile, Jessica is seen in her room. She had woken up from her deep sleep feeling extremely tired.

She had slept off after she returned and she was waking up now, just because of how stressed she was from work.

She climbed down the bed and then walked inside the bathroom, took her bath, and then walked inside her room and put on her dress, ready to leave for work when she saw a document lying on the bed.

But then she remembered she had seen Jayden and Allison walk into her room last night and kept it on the bed. She was too tired to check it.

She wondered if this was what they saw in Lisa’s room. She wondered what was in the document.

She sighed softly and had wanted to check it out but she felt she would when she came back from the company as she was already late.

She took her bag and walked out of the room. She went downstairs and saw Lucas taking photos of Lisa who was tied on the chair.

“What’s going on here?” Jessica asked.

“She’s finally been caught as you wanted, Brandon found out she’s been lying to him and now he’s pissed and asked me not to let her out of my sight,” Lucas said with a smirk on his face and Jessica hummed.

She turned to Lisa who was also staring at her. She then looked away from her and then walked out of the house. She hopped inside her car and zoomed off.

Meanwhile, Hannah and Brandon’s car screeched to a halt in front of Mrs. Samantha’s house.

Mellisa opened the door in a rush and walked inside the house to see her grandma.

Brandon and Hannah alighted the car and stared at each other before walking inside the house.

The moment they walked inside the house, they saw an advanced woman lying on the bed, Mellisa was sitting beside her and a lady too was in the room.

The moment the lady saw them, she walked towards them.

“You must be….”

“Brandon Colby and this is my wife, Hannah,” Brandon said and the nurse raised her eyebrows surprised. She knew Adrianna and Lisa were staying at Colby’s mansion.

“I’m Nurse Khloe, Lisa hired me to take care of Grandma Samantha. Nice to meet you” The nurse said and Hannah nodded as she shook hands with the nurse.

“Her condition, is it that serious?” Hannah asked.

“Yeah, she has cancer,” Khloe said as she turned and stared at Samantha and Mellisa.

“It’s curable right?” Hannah asked.

“Yeah, but sadly hers isn’t,” the nurse said.

“But why?” Hannah asked.

“Her cancer is a Stage 4, or metastatic or advanced cancer,” the nurse said and Hannah raised her eyebrows waiting for the nurse to explain more deeply.

“The Cancer cells have spread beyond nearby tissue and into lymph nodes and parts of the body, including organs, potentially far from the original site. So, it isn’t curable and from the test result that came out yesterday, she’s not going to spend a long time alive” The nurse said Hannah stared at her for a few seconds and then sighed softly then turned to Brandon who hadn’t said a word.

“Grandma I’m here now” Mellisa muttered softly and her grandma smiled.

“I know honey,” Samantha said as tears slipped down her cheeks.

“Stop crying Grandma, I promise you will be fine,” Mellisa said and Samantha smiled, she knew what her fate was and that she wasn’t going to survive it.

She had heard the doctor telling Khloe yesterday that the cancer cells had spread all over her body.

“I love you Adrianna and I want you to be a good girl” Samantha said and Mellisa nodded.

“Where’s Lisa?” Samantha asked and Mellisa sighed sadly.

“She didn’t come with us,” Mellisa said and Samantha stared at her confused.

“Us? Who came with you then?” She asked.

“Brandon Colby,” Mellisa said and then turned and saw Hannah and Brandon staring at both her and Samantha.

“B…Brandon Colby” Samantha muttered the moment she and Brandon’s eyes came in contact.

“Hi,” Brandon muttered.

“Oh my goodness! I have been waiting so long for when you would show up” she said and tried to stand up from the bed but the nurse moved towards her and held her.

“You need to rest, Samantha,” the nurse said and she nodded. Everyone stared at her confused wondering what she meant by she’s been waiting for when he would show up. Does he know Brandon?, Hannah thought.

“Do you know her?” Hannah asked in a whisper.

“No, this is the first time I’m seeing her” Brandon whispered back.

“Hi, Grandma Samantha ” Brandon muttered as he moved towards the woman who then held his hands.

“I’m sorry everything turned out this way. I was the one who let Lisa take Adrianna. I knew Lisa knew you and I let her take her in exchange for my treatment,” she paused and then coughed.

Her cough was filled with blood.

“You need to rest,” Brandon said. He then turned to Mellisa who was staring at the blood with fear in her eyes.

“There’s something you need to know, Brandon,” She paused and coughed out blood again, this time the blood was thicker.

“Adrianna is….”

“I know she’s a good girl, you need to rest,” Brandon said, cutting off her speech.

“I know she’s a good child, she’s….” She coughed out blood again and again and suddenly she closed her eyes and was gone.

“Samantha” nurse Khloe called and then Brandon stood up and moved away from her.

“Samantha, Samantha” nurse Khloe called as she checked her. Tears slipped down her cheeks when she realized she was dead.

“She’s gone,” Nurse Khloe said and then turned to Mellisa who stood there looking numb for a second, staring at her grandma’s lifeless body on the bed.

“Melissa..” Hannah called and then she regained herself again, it was then it dawned on her that her grandma was gone.

“Grandma, Grandma” she called as she moved towards her shaking her lifeless body.

“Melissa…-”

“My name is not Mellisa, my name is Adrianna” she yelled, cutting off Hannah’s speech.

“Grandma, please wake up! Please, I beg you please don’t leave me” she cried as she shook her body begging her to wake up.
