“She’s saying the truth Brandon” They heard a voice from behind and turned only to see Lucas.

“Don’t give me that look, I found out Mellisa isn’t your child and Lisa has been lying to you. Her friend Jules told me everything” Lucas said as he sat on the chair.

“You knew all this time and didn’t bother telling me about it?” Brandon asked.

“Because you wouldn’t believe me even if I tried to. You know you act like you know everything and I was waiting for you to figure it out yourself” Lucas said and Brandon sighed.

“They are both lying Brandon. They both planned all of this. Lucas asked me out and I refused and he’s trying to get back at me” Lisa said and Lucadls screamed at once.

“What? When I’m not stupid. You are no longer my type Lisa, your time has passed” Lucas said and Lisa felt her heartbreak at what he had said. That she wasn’t his type anymore, how dare he, she thought angrily.

“Then who is your type, Hannah?”

“Keep my name out of your stinky mouth” Hannah yelled and she rolled her eyes.

Meanwhile, Mellisa who was asleep, had heard noises coming from outside the room. She opened her eyes and didn’t see Lisa in the room.

She wondered if she was in some sort of trouble. She rushed out of the room and went downstairs.

“Mommy” she called as she rushed into hugging Lisa and Lucas rolled his eyes.

“Honey,” Lisa called in the most caring tone ever as she patted her hair.

“Daddy, what’s going on mommy?” Mellisa asked while staring at everyone.

“They are trying to throw me out of here, they hate us both,” Lisa said and Mellisa turned and stared at them all.

“Stop your acting Lisa, just stop already,” Hannah said but Lisa didn’t say a word to her. Instead, she was crying her crocodile tears.

“Daddy, please do not let them hurt my mommy,” Mellisa said with fear written all over her face. She knows if Lisa is thrown out, she won’t pay her grandma’s hospital bills again. She cannot afford to let that happen.

“No one is going to hurt her, Mellisa. You don’t have to be scared” Brandon said and Lucas scoffed.

“Cut the crap, Mellisa, we know the truth, don’t let her use you,” Lucas said and Mellisa stared at him pretending not to know what Lucas was talking about.

“Melissa, honey. I know your grandma is sick and Lisa asked you to pretend to be Mellisa and she would pay your grandma’s bills” Hannah said and Mellisa looked away from her.

“I don’t know what you are talking about,” Mellisa said as she hugged Lisa who smiled a little.

Hannah sighed, she knew the little girl was scared.

“She’s using you, Mellisa. I overheard her talking to someone today, your grandma would not make it, she’s going to die” Hannah said and Mellisa turned to her swiftly.

“My grandma is not going to die” Mellisa yelled at once and burst into tears.

“Oh finally, she agreed she has a grandma,” Lucas said as he sighed.

Lisa bit her inner lips knowing fully well that it was over and she was now a walking dead. Brandon was going to kill her.

“Hey, Mellisa,” Lisa tried holding her but she moved back and pushed her hands away.

“I want to see my grandma,” she cried

And started shivering.

“Mellisa please calm down” Lisa begged but the child kept crying and calling out to her grandma.

Lisa stared at Brandon who was staring at her with the look of disappointment in his eyes.

“What have you done?” He asked calmly, with anger eluding from the sound of his voice and Lisa moved back in fear.

“Mellisa” Hannah called but she didn’t let Hannah touch her.

“Brandon, you should leave Lisa and calm the little girl, she will listen to you,” Hannah said to Brandon who gave Lisa one last glance before turning to Mellisa who was crying.

“Hey, Mellisa” he called and the little girl raised her head and stared at him.

“I don’t want my grandma to die, she’s the only family I have left” she cried and Brandon knelt on the ground and hugged her.

“Your grandma will be fine, she will not die alright, stop crying,” he said as he pulled away from the hug and wiped her tears.

Mellisa nodded and became calm immediately. She didn’t know why, she trusted Brandon’s Word and she felt calm immediately after he told her to calm down.

She saw him as the father she never had.

He stood up and turned to Lisa.

“Send me the address of her grandma’s, I will deal with you when I’m back. Don’t let her leave, Lucas” Brandon said as he held Mellisa’s hands and then walked out of the house, with Hannah trailing behind them.

Lisa gritted her teeth as she stared at Mellisa till she was out of her sight. She ruined her plans, she thought in her head and was about to walk away when Lucas held her hands.

“Not so fast, sweetie. You heard my Brother, I need to keep you here till he arrives, now bring your phone and text him the address” Lucas said as he took the phone from her and made her sit on the dining chair.

He called Alex the butler and asked him to get him a rope which he did after which he tied her to the chair.

“What do you think you are doing Lucas, Brandon is going to kill me, you have to let me go” Lisa begged as she struggled to pull away from the chair she’s been tied to. Lucas kept smiling as he opened her phone and took a picture of her.

“I’m posting this online. Finally, I’m sure I’m gonna enjoy all of this drama. I have never been this happy all my life. ” Lucas laughed as he took another picture of her with her phone.
