Chapter 206

The moment Hannah got home, she and the kids alighted the car and walked inside the house.

“Go to your room, I need to prepare dinner,” she said to the kids who nodded and went to their room.

She sighed, as the thought of Rosa apologizing to her came into her head.

Rosa would never apologize to her no matter what, she was shocked at the same time, and she wondered what came over her.

And how could she expect her to forgive her after everything she’s done, never, she thought angrily.

And just then the sound of the front door opening jolted her out of her thoughts. She turned and to her surprise, she saw a strange man walk into the house.

It wasn’t just any strange man, it was the man from the grocery store who had been stalking her.

“You! What are you doing here? Are you following me?” She yelled and the strange man smiled.

“Hey calm down pretty, I mean no harm,” he said in a calm tone scrutinizing the whole house.

“How did you even get in here?” Hannah asked, still surprised.

“I hired most of the security men here,” he said in response as he put his hands in his pocket staring around. Hannah stared at him with a confused expression on her face.

“What’s going on here?” Jessica, who had heard Hannah’s voice from downstairs, asked as she, Arianna and Matthew climbed down the stairs.

They had heard Hannah’s scream from their rooms and decided to come see what was going on.

“I don’t know who this stranger is and how he got past the front gate,” Hannah said, staring at the strange man who kept staring around.

She noticed there was a scar on the side of his ear, she didn’t notice it the first time they had seen each other.

“Hey, who are you?” Arianna asked and just then the strange man turned around and both Arianna and Jessica paused the moment they saw who it was.

“Lucas” Arianna and Jessica called at once and Hannah raised her eyebrows.

Lucas?, she remembered that name. She remembered Brandon said his brother Lucas had died with some engineers in the fields because of a faulty machine signed off by him.

I thought he said he died, how come he’s alive? she thought as she stared at him.

“Hello Sister, hello Mother, Surprised to see me alive?” he asked as he smirked devilishly.

“Oh, my goodness!!” Arianna muttered still in shock. Even though she wasn’t with them, she had heard the news of Lucas’s death and how it had happened.

It pained her so much that she blamed herself for his death. She wished she was with them and they were a family he wouldn’t have died and now he’s fucking alive. It was a miracle.

“Oh Lucas my boy, you are alive, you are alive” Arianna muttered, as she moved towards him and tried hugging him but he raised his hands signifying she shouldn’t come close to him.

“Who is he?” Matthew asked Jessica who was still in shock.

“He’s my dead brother,” she said and Matthew raised his eyebrows.

“Dead brother? I didn’t know you had another brother”

“I did, but he died,” Jessica said and Matthew sighed.

Jessica couldn’t believe her eyes, Lucas was still alive. It was impossible… the machine had caught fire and he had burnt to ashes, they saw his body, how come he’s alive, she thought.

“Oh little sister, I hope you didn’t miss me that much,” he said and Jessica stared at him without saying a word.

Just then the front door burst open revealing Brandon.

He paused as he saw everyone in the sitting room.

“What’s going on?” He asked and everyone turned to him and just then Lucas turned to him, Brandon’s face fell immediately when he saw Lucas.

Lucas smiled as he saw the look on his face. He put his hands in his pocket and moved towards him.

“Hello Brother,” he smirked and Brandon blinked twice, staring at him with a surprised look on his face.

“Lucas, you are alive,” he said and Lucas chuckled.

“Surprised? That even after you tried to kill me, I’m still alive. You shouldn’t be brother,” Lucas said and Brandon scoffed.

“What the hell are you talking about? I never tried to kill you. And that machine burnt to the ground and I saw your body, how come you are alive?” He asked and Lucas sighed

“I guess miracles still happen and it happened to be someone else’s body you saw, not mine.

I know what you did Brandon, don’t even try to hide it.

I know you signed those papers even though you knew the machines were faulty just because you wanted to get rid of me.

But guess what brother? I am so back and this time to ruin your perfect little life…your biggest nightmare is back” he paused and then turned to Hannah.

“I have been watching you and your wife all this while. Especially your wife. I have been stalking her” he said and Brandon gave him a confused look.

“Stalking my wife?” He asked to be sure of what he had just heard and Lucas turned to him.

“Yeah, she knew I was stalking her, she just didn’t know who I was. Anyways, damn, your wife is pretty and sexy” he said as he stared at Hannah with lust in his eyes and the frown on Brandon’s face deepened.

“If you are angry at me, face me, but stay the hell away from my wife,” he said between gritted teeth.

“Same way you stayed away from my fiancée and……” Brandon interrupted him with a punch to his nose.

“Brandon,” Arianna called

“Oh Jesus, you haven’t changed brother. I’m gonna let this slide but don’t you dare hit me again ” he said and Brandon scoffed.

“What are you going to do?” he said as he punched him again in his nose making him bleed.

Lucas touched his nose and then saw blood. He raised his head and stared at Brandon angrily and then he punched him back in return on his nose and Brandon punched him again and they started fighting.

“Brandon stop,” Hannah yelled as they started fighting.

She moved towards Brandon and pulled him away from Lucas, while Arianna held Lucas.

“Let go of me,” Lucas said as he shrugged himself away from Arianna’s hands.

“If you know what is good for you Lucas, you would stay away from my wife, because history is not gonna repeat itself again on this one,” he said Lucas smirked and smiled at Hannah who was staring at them wondering what was going on and what they were talking about.Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
