You Are My Mr Right

Izzy Green walked towards Freya. Freya subconsciously took a step back. The law enforcement officers were still around, so she walked towards them. Although law enforcement officers weren’t proper police, at least they were uniformed.

Wouldn’t they have some deterrent effect on bad people?

“Freya, come here,” Izzy Green said as she approached. Seeing Freya avoiding her, she continued forward, and Freya, in turn, stepped back. Eventually, Freya stopped and stood her ground.

“You deceived me, trying to have Elijah all to yourself. Last night, it was the first time I apologized to someone, do you know?” Izzy Green couldn’t swallow this grievance.

She had to make things clear with Freya.

“It was Elijah who should have apologized to you. You should talk to him!”

“Why should I go to him? I’m coming to you!” Izzy Green became impatient and raised her voice. “When you were deceiving me, you were quite eloquent. Why are you acting so timid now?”

Freya stared at her. “If you want to harm me, I have to avoid you.”

Izzy Green paused, feeling like her thoughts were easily seen through. Indeed, she intended to harm Freya. And she wanted to remove her from Elijah’s side. But she hadn’t figured out a good plan, and with anger in her heart, she resorted to directly confronting Freya.

Freya observed Izzy Green, who didn’t deny it. So, the people who had captured her just now were indeed sent by Izzy Green.

Freya clenched her fists.

“I won’t leave Elijah, and I won’t let you have him.”

Since she had already taken action against her, Freya was annoyed. If it was not going well for her, then no one should have it easy!

“And, I will tell him that you are a malicious woman.” Freya continued speaking.

Izzy Green’s face turned red with anger.

“You, you…”

Freya straightened her back. If she appeared weak, she would be easy to bully!

“Freya Stone!” Izzy Green, blinded by anger, couldn’t stay calm. She was furious and wanted to beat Freya to a pulp.

Freya calmly avoided her and warned, “If you dare to touch me, I’ll call the police and report you for assault.”

Izzy Green was on the verge of exploding.

“I won’t let you go. Just wait!” After saying this, Izzy Green stormed off.

Freya didn’t relax because of this. Instead, she became more vigilant and nervous. She needed to be on guard against people who wanted to harm her. First, there was Liora Valentine, and now there was Izzy Green.

Elijah’s face was truly troublesome!

It brought her so much trouble.

If she were captured this time, she might not make it out alive. Just thinking about it sent shivers down her spine.

Freya returned to the performance venue. The program was near its end, and their dance studio’s performance had already finished. Now they were cleaning up.

Freya approached, and Mrs Quinn pulled her aside, asking, “Why did you suddenly leave without saying anything? You made me really worried.”

“I ran into a little trouble. I’m sorry for causing you trouble.”

“Oh, it’s nothing here, I’m just worried about you.”

Freya lowered her eyes slightly, concealing her thoughts.

Because of the performance today, there were no classes. After finishing the performance, they would be done for the day. Once all the children left, Freya and others cleaned up the dance studio together.

Mrs Quinn said, “Everyone worked hard today. I’ve reserved a place at Purple Sunshine. I’ll take you all there to relax.”

“I won’t go.”

Freya felt tired and just wanted to go home and rest.

Mrs Quinn didn’t insist. “Alright then.”

“Have fun, everyone.”

Freya separated from the group. They went to have fun, while she went home. Taking a taxi on the way back, Freya’s heart was still on edge. It was as if she hadn’t completely escaped the danger. The car hadn’t reached her residence when her phone rang. She answered.

It was Elijah.

“Come to the company.” Said he.

Freya felt exhausted and just wanted to go home and rest.

“What’s the matter? Say it on the phone.”

There was an obvious pause on the other end probably because of her attitude.

“Somebody came and said you assaulted them. Won’t you come and confront them?” Elijah said.

Freya pressed her temples forcefully. “I see.”

There was an “Mm” on the other end.

Ending the call, Freya instructed the driver with a new address. She took a deep breath, mustering her energy. She didn’t know who was causing trouble this time.

The car soon stopped at Headence Group. Freya paid and got off the car. As soon as she entered the building, Elijah’s secretary approached. It seemed like they were waiting for her.

“Come with me,” the secretary said.

Freya nodded.

Soon, she was brought to the reception area.

Elijah was there, and so was Izzy Green and her father. Izzy’s face was red. There were even handprints. Freya stared at her for a couple of seconds. In her mind, she thought, “Did she slap herself to frame me? Was this to make me appear as the aggressor?”

She couldn’t believe that for the sake of framing her, Izzt Green would go to such extremes.

“Dad, it was her who hit me. You must stand up for me!” Izzy Green clung to her father’s sleeve, crying.

“What evidence do you have that I hit you?” Freya asked.

“What more evidence do you need? Isn’t it clear on my face?” Izzy Green glanced at her.

Freya just found it ridiculous. “So, according to your logic, the injuries on my arm, aren’t they your doing?”

She rolled up her sleeves. The scars from falling into the pit were still there.

“Your face injury, with just your words, blaming me without any evidence. But the injuries on my body, I have evidence, everyone knows I fell into a pit and got scratched because of you. Shouldn’t I also demand an explanation from you for this incident?” Freya Stone argued.

Izzy Green remained silent.

“You’re distorting the truth,” accused Jasper Green. He had underestimated Freya Stone’s eloquence. He didn’t expect her to be so articulate. However, for the sake of his daughter, he maintained a firm attitude. “You fell into the pit, it wasn’t intentional, but the injuries on my daughter’s face, were they not deliberately caused by you? Let me tell you, my daughter has never suffered such grievances before. You must apologize to my children for this.”

Elijah glanced at Freya. He had experienced this woman’s sharp tongue before. He wasn’t disappointed; in fact, he appreciated it. He liked the way Freya Stone extended her claws, like an angered cat, using them to protect herself.

“She fell into the pit without intention, but how can you be sure that Freya intentionally hit your daughter’s face? In fact, even if it were true, it wouldn’t be possible that Freya did it on purpose.” Elijah calmly stated, clearly supporting Freya Stone.

Jasper Green was at a loss for words.

“How could the face injury not be intentional?” Jasper Green felt a sense of being wronged.

However, he was unaware that his daughter had slapped herself a few times just to provoke Freya Stone into taking action. If he knew, he would probably be furious.

“Then, how can you prove that when I fell into the pit, it wasn’t pushed intentionally by her?” countered Freya.
