You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 123 Her Decision

Hearing the noise, Freya turned her head and saw Elijah. She descended from the windowsill and walked towards him. “How is Orion?”Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Elijah adjusted his collar and said, “He’s preparing to resign from the hospital and work at his family’s company.”

Freya’s expression dimmed slightly. She knew that Orion loved being a doctor. Giving it up must be difficult for him.

“With loss comes gain,” Elijah seemed to sense her concerns. “Don’t worry about him.”

Freya helped him unbutton his suit jacket, her eyes lowered. “I’m not worried about him.”

Elijah gazed at her. Today, she seemed a bit different.

Freya hung his jacket and said, “Are you going to take a shower before sleeping?”

Elijah lightly agreed.

“Let me run the water for you,” Freya went to the bathroom.

Elijah grabbed her and asked, “Do you have something on your mind?”

Freya smiled at him. “Do I?”

She just wanted to interact peacefully with Elijah and address her feelings for him! At this moment, her tranquility and gentleness captivated Elijah.

He bent down and lifted Freya around her waist. Freya embraced his neck and looked up at him. “Aren’t you going to shower?”

Elijah set her down on the bed. His whole body hovered over hers. “Do you find me dirty?”

Freya shook her head. “No…”

“I’m very clean,” he said, then leaned down and lightly kissed her pink lips. With a hint of a smile in the corners of his eyes, he took Freya’s hand and placed it on the collar of his shirt. In a low voice, he said, “Undo it for me.”

Freya blushed slightly, her gaze avoiding his.

Elijah adjusted her face. “Look at me.”

He was dominant and assertive.

Freya pushed him, pouting. “You’re bullying me.”

Elijah chuckled. He really liked Freya’s current appearance. He lowered his head, rubbing against her. “I only bully you.”

Freya laughed. “So you can sweet-talk too.”

Elijah said, “I’m only human.”

He touched her face, and his fingertips slowly descended along her neck. Her skin was as delicate as jade, making it irresistible. Freya slightly tilted her head, not resisting. Elijah became even more unbridled, slipping his hand into her clothes, lifting the hem!

Cool air rushed in, and Freya shrank under him. Elijah pressed against her, using his body warmth to comfort her. Clothes had been completely discarded. Elijah carried her, rolling into the quilt. The kisses were passionate, and the atmosphere was thick. Just as the two were about to become one, the door was urgently knocked.

Freya returned to her senses in a whirlwind. She pushed the man on top of her and said, “Someone’s here.”

Elijah didn’t want to pay attention, lightly humming. His lips never left her skin.

“The door isn’t locked.” She reminded.

The knocking was urgent. Freya was afraid someone would barge in.

“They won’t come in,” Elijah mumbled.

“Madam, your brother is here. He said your father passed away,” Linda’s voice came from outside.

Something exploded in her mind. Freya’s eyes trembled, showing a terrified look. Elijah also snapped out of his enchantment. He lowered his head to look at her and softly asked, “Are you okay?”

Freya couldn’t speak, just feeling cold all over.

Elijah held her, whispering in her ear, “It’s okay, it’s okay. I’ll be with you.”

A crystal tear fell from her eye, sliding into the strands of her hair.

“I… I hate him… but… right now, I feel pain,” she said hoarsely, trembling slightly.

Elijah said, “I know.”

That was her father. How could she not feel anything?

“I… I want to see him.” The next moment, she hurriedly got up.

Elijah helped her put on her clothes. “Don’t be anxious.”

“How can I not be anxious?” She suddenly shouted.

She was too agitated. After shouting, she realized she shouldn’t be impulsive. Even if she was upset, she shouldn’t vent her anger on Elijah.

“Sorry,” she said softly.

Elijah wiped away her tears. “I won’t blame you.”

She stared at Elijah blankly, then suddenly threw herself into his arms, crying loudly, her shoulders shaking. Elijah held her, patting her back. After a while, her mood calmed down, and she put on her clothes to go out.

When Freya arrived at the hospital, she didn’t get to see Leo Stone for the last time. The body had already been pushed into the morgue, covered with a white cloth. Yolanda was crying beside it, crying heartbreakingly. Freya hesitated for a few seconds before taking a step forward.

Yolanda pushed her. “You jinx, your father died because of you…”

“Mom!” Zane Stone interrupted her. “How can you blame her? If it weren’t for you quarreling with Dad, he wouldn’t have been so angry!”

When Leo Stone died, Zane was present. He knew Leo Stone’s death had nothing to do with Freya. Yolanda glared fiercely at her son.

Freya glanced coldly at Yolanda, her eyes devoid of any warmth.

Leo Stone’s illness was severe, and even if his time was limited, he still had some days left. His sudden passing was likely connected to Yolanda. Yolanda, feeling guilty, couldn’t meet Freya’s gaze directly. Instead, she cried, wailing, “You’re gone. How can we, as a widow and orphan, go on without you?”

She portrayed immense sorrow and continued to criticize Freya, saying, “Look at your daughter. She doesn’t shed a single tear knowing you’re gone. You’ve raised such a heartless daughter!”

“Mom,” Zane pulled Yolanda aside. “Move aside, or my sister can’t see Dad for the last time.”

Yolanda turned her head and glared at her son. Ignoring her gaze, Zane pulled his mother to the side, making space for Freya to see their father one last time.

Freya remained calm on the surface, but her hands clenched into fists at her sides, betraying her emotions at this moment. Elijah held her hand. Although he didn’t say a word, his presence brought warmth to Freya. Gradually, under Elijah’s comfort, she calmed down. Stepping forward, she reached out and lifted the white cloth, revealing Leo Stone’s visage.

Although his eyes were closed, his expression suggested that his departure was not peaceful.

Freya didn’t shed a tear. She looked at Zane. “When Dad passed away, you were present. Did he have any last words?”

Zane was about to speak, but Yolanda interrupted, “What else could he say? Of course, he said to leave the property to Zane.”

Zane wanted to say more, but Yolanda glared at him, scolding, “Can I lie? I am your mother!”

Her last sentence carried a tone of warning, as if she was telling Zane Stone that she was his true family. Zane moved his lips but eventually stayed silent.

Freya didn’t expect Zane to reveal much. Her question was a probe directed at Yolanda. Given Yolanda’s attitude, Freya would not let her off. Originally, she didn’t care about the Stone family’s wealth, but now, she was determined to take it over.
