You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 121 Trouble Arises

Freya explained softly.

Elijah had only found out the basics. After all, Yolanda chose a remote location, and Elijah had no idea what happened there.

Hearing Freya say that Yolanda wanted to harm her, Elijah tensed up and asked, “Are you injured?”

Freya shook her head.

Thinking about Ronan Vega’s injury, Elijah felt relieved again. After all, she was skilled with a surgical knife and wouldn’t be easily harmed. However, she was still a girl, no matter how smart she was, her physical strength was limited.

“Be careful from now on.” he instructed. “Contact me immediately if anything happens.”

“Okay.” Freya, with clear and bright eyes, blinked. “Elijah, I…”

She wanted to say that she had given birth to a child. But when the words reached her lips, she didn’t know how to start.

“What’s wrong?” Elijah asked.

Freya lowered her head, organizing her words in her mind on how to broach the subject. “It’s just that last time, I wanted to tell you something.”

“Yeah?”

“It’s just that I…”

Her phone in her pocket suddenly vibrated.

“If you have something to say, just say it directly. You don’t need to avoid me.” Elijah sensed her hesitation.

“I’ve given birth to a child!” She gathered her courage.

Elijah pressed his lips tightly. He knew Freya had mentioned it before. Judging from his expression, Freya knew he didn’t understand. She thought he believed she was referring to the last time when she lied to him.

“No, it’s actually…”

“I don’t mind.” Elijah emphasized again.

At this moment, her phone in her pocket vibrated again.

Worried that it might be a call from her mother, in case something happened to Kai and she couldn’t delay, Freya thought for a moment and said, “Forget it.”

She turned and walked out.

Elijah stopped her.

“Where are you going? Sleep here tonight.” His gaze was intense.

Freya whispered, “I have something.”

“What’s the matter?”

“I need to contact my mom. My dad is sick, right? He wants to see her, so I need to let her know.” Freya said half-truths, and Elijah couldn’t interfere. After all, it was a serious matter. He had to let go. “I’ll be back soon.”

Elijah let go. “Hmm.”

Freya walked out of the room. Back in her own room, she closed the door, sat on the edge of the bed, took out her phone, and checked the messages. To her surprise, it wasn’t Elowen Noir, but Luna.

She hesitated for a moment but decided to call back. The call was answered quickly.

“Freya.”

“Yeah.” Freya was also concerned about Luna’s current relationship with Orion Russo and asked, “How are you and Orion?”

Luna didn’t speak. Through the phone, Freya could hear a slight sob.

“Are you crying?” Freya asked.

Luna still didn’t respond.

“What’s wrong?” she asked urgently.

Luna’s emotions were in turmoil now, and she couldn’t calm down to communicate with her.

“Where are you?” Freya asked again.

After a while, Luna answered, “I’m at Orion’s place. Can you come and pick me up?”

Freya said she could, but she didn’t know where Orion’s place was. She had never been to where he lived.

“Send me your location,” she said.

Luna agreed.

Freya hung up the phone and immediately went out. However, she ran into Elijah in the corridor; he was also going out.

The two exchanged glances, and Elijah spoke first, “Are you going out?”

Freya nodded. “A good friend of mine has some trouble and asked me to go over.”

Seeing Elijah’s appearance, it seemed he was also going out. She asked, “Are you going out too?”

“Yeah.”

Elijah took the first step, asking as he walked, “Where are you going?”

Freya had just checked the address, so she stated it. Elijah stopped and turned to look at her. “We’re going to the same place.”

“Huh?”

She was obviously surprised, and soon she realized that Elijah was familiar with Orion.

“Is Orion looking for you?” asked she.

Elijah nodded and said, “Let’s go together.”

Freya nodded.

Elijah drove, and Freya sat in the passenger seat. Both of them were silent. They both wanted to speak but they didn’t know what to talk about. After a while, Freya broke the silence, “My friend, Luna, used to be with Orion.”

Elijah didn’t pay too much attention to Orion’s private affairs, so he didn’t know much. After hearing Freya’s words, he realized that Orion’s recent depression was due to relationship problems.

“So are they breaking up now?” he asked.

Freya didn’t know how to describe it. “Luna wants to break up, but Orion is unwilling to let go, or you could say he hasn’t let go.”

Elijah remained indifferent and didn’t ask further. Soon, they arrived at their destination. Freya got out of the car first, and Elijah followed.

Orion came to open the door when they knocked. Seeing the two of them together, he wasn’t surprised. He had been by Luna’s side when she called Freya just now.

He stepped aside, making room, and said, “Come in.”

Freya walked quickly towards Luna. Luna was sitting on the floor, leaning against the sofa, her face buried in her arms. Freya squatted down beside her and reached out to pat her back. “Luna.”

Luna raised her head, her eyes were red, and her eye sockets were swollen. It was evident she had been crying for a long time. Her voice was hoarse, “Take me away from here.”

Freya helped her stand up, saying, “Okay.”

Luna had no strength to cry anymore. She was weak, and Freya had to support her for her to walk.

“Both of you go back to the villa,” Elijah handed the car keys to Freya.

Freya took them and said, “Thank you.”

Elijah glanced at her but didn’t respond.

Back at the villa, Freya helped Luna sit on the sofa, poured her a glass of warm water, and asked her to drink to soothe her throat. Luna took a few sips. Linda came over to inquire, “Is this young lady your friend?”

Freya said yes.

“Will she be staying here tonight? Mr Sil…”

“Elijah knows.”

This was Elijah’s residence, and he generally didn’t like strangers to enter. Linda was worried about any misunderstandings and conflicts between the two. Understanding Linda’s concerns, Freya explained to her. Linda breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing that Elijah knew. She said warmly, “I’ll help this young lady tidy up a guest room so she can rest.”

Freya said, “Thank you, Linda.”

Linda replied, “My pleasure, Madam.”

At this point, Luna’s emotions had calmed down a bit.

Freya asked concernedly, “Are you okay?”This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

Luna said, “No.”

“What happened?” Freya asked.

Luna didn’t hide anything from Freya since she already knew about her and Orion.

“Do you know that Orion went to a teahouse for a blind date?” Luna asked.

Freya nodded. “I know.” She looked at Luna. “Did the blind date go wrong because of you?”
