Chapter 703
“Not at all,” Paul replied. “Do you have a preferred car model?”
Miranda didn’t have any specific preferences. She just wanted a car that was easy to drive.
He said, “I’d suggest a sedan. It’s more comfortable and easier to handle than an SUV, though you might give up some space, especially in the back. If it’s just for commuting and not family trips, a sedan is a solid choice.”
“Okay.” She nodded to show that she was open to his suggestion.
“What about the brand?” Paul asked. “Do you have any preferences?”
“No.” Miranda shook her head. “But I do have a thing for Germara cars.”
He raised an eyebrow and realized he shared her preference for cars from that country. “What’s your budget?”
She answered, “I don’t have a set limit.”
Their first stop was the nearby Volkswagen dealership.
As soon as they entered, a salesman, Jasper, approached with a friendly smile. “How can I assist you today? Any particular car you’re interested in?”
Paul replied, “We’re looking for a sedan and something fuel–efficient and easy to drive. Any recommendations?”
“You might want to check this one out…” Jasper led them to a display area. “This is the newly redesigned Tiguan L with a spacious interior and bold design…”
Paul frowned, and Miranda looked just as confused. They had explicitly requested a sedan, yet Jasper showed them SUVs. He went on to suggest several more, all of them crossover models. NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.
Paul reminded him, “Sorry. We’re looking for a sedan.”
Jasper replied, “How can a sedan match the boldness of a crossover SUV? Real men with status and class drive SUVs. Just check out these headlights and the engine specs-”
Paul interrupted, “She’s the one who’ll be driving it, not me.”
Jasper said, “It’s always the guy behind the wheel in most households, right? You can say it’s for her, but we both know who will drive it. So, we’ll need to choose something that suits us…”
Paul was left speechless. He turned to Miranda. “Want to head to the next dealership?”
“Yeah, let’s go.” She had been wanting to leave for a while.
Jasper had a serious case of what people call “male chauvinism“.
Paul and Miranda walked straight out and headed to the dealership across the street. This time, they were welcomed by a young woman, Freya, who greeted them with a warm smile as soon as they walked In and promptly offered them floral tea and light snacks.
When she noticed Miranda dressed lightly, she even asked her colleague to turn up the heat to make sure

Miranda stayed comfortable.
Miranda described her car preferences and requirements, and Freya noted each detail carefully.
That is all,” Miranda
concluded.
After listening closely, Freya had a clear idea of what to recommend. She smiled and said, “Let me show you a few options. They’re all easy–to–drive and fuel–efficient sedans, but the designs are different from each other.
“Let’s head over to the display area. These particular models just happen to be on display on the showroom floor, so you can compare them and choose…”
Freya was surprisingly professional, and Miranda was just as unexpectedly decisive.
“Have you made your decision?” Paul asked.
“Yes, this is the one. I’ll pay with a card.” Miranda made up her mind in just 15 minutes.
Freya was surprised. “Are you sure you don’t want to take another look?”
“No need. I’ll pay by card. Can I take the car today?” Miranda asked.
Freya replied, “We have a car available in the lot, but it was manufactured last month. If you’re okay with it being an inventory vehicle…”
After hearing that the car was manufactured last month, Miranda thought it was still pretty recent. She replied, “I’m okay with that.”
This was the first time Freya had dealt with such a decisive customer. After closing the sale, she couldn’t help but feel pleased with herself,
As she handed the contract to Miranda, she asked, “Are you two newlyweds? You make such a great couple.”
