"Chairman Thompson... I'm sorry." Justin's pale lips parted slightly. His voice was low, tinged with bitterness.

"Justin, there's no need to say anything. I don't blame you." Wyatt's eyes were filled with sincerity as his voice wavered. "My daughter has always been headstrong and willful. Justin felt his chest tighten, his heart suffocating with pain.

"To be honest, I have long regarded you as one of my own. In my eyes, you are no different from Asher or Axel-you are like a son to me."

Wyatt's gaze softened, a glimmer of tears shining in his eyes.

"Even though you and Bella are no longer together, I won't hold that against you. If you ever face difficulties at Salvador Corporation, don't hesitate to come to me. I will help you without question. After all, you have extended your hand to me many times before. I owe you that much."

Axel stood in a daze.

On their way over, he had been filled with unease, afraid Wyatt might take out his frustrations on Justin because of their breakup and Bella's current state. But his father's understanding and magnanimity left him speechless.
