The Alpha’s Obsession with his Ex-Contract Luna

Chapter 88

Chapter 88

Goldie was now in charge of Sheridan’s business. Per schedule, she was supposed to visit the companies in person to ensure that everything went the way Sheridan wanted it.

This was the first time Sheridan neglected her business completely. Aside from leaving instructions here and there about payment of remittan that needed signing in Goldie’s care.

Goldie was on the phone with her father, hanging up to see a Rolls Royce overtake her. The car suddenly crossed her path, stopping abruptly

Recognizing the car too late, only Sheridan’s warning that Alpha Nick might kidnap any of them to know her whereabouts rang in her mind. If she had known, she would have brought her bodyguards along, but even with that, they would be no match for Alpha Nick.

Alpha Nick got down from his car and walked towards hers. Though dressed in just a shirt and a pair of trousers without his blazer, he still carried that air of sophistication with him.

Tapping on the window, Goldie reluctantly rolled it down. “Unlock the door,” Alpha Nick instructed solemnly. She felt uncomfortable

“I’m sorry, I have to hurry to catch up with someone. I can’t talk now. Please go to the pack,” Goldie spoke faster than normal, feeling nervous want from her was to know Sheridan’s whereabouts, meaning that he did not trust their former report.

Or, was it because she was the one who delivered Sheridan’s letter to him? What a big mistake not to have let Arnold or any of Sheridan’s brothers do so.

Alpha Nick glared at her. He had no intention of hurting her because she was Sheridan’s cousin, but that did not mean he was going to take it kindly if she tried to make things difficult.

“I said, unlock the door. I will go wherever you are going. All you have to do is give me some answers.” In other words, he could sit in

the car for her to drive wherever she was going, just so she would give him the right answers.

Goldie swallowed tightly, understanding the reason why Sheridan used to be afraid of Alpha Nick throughout their marriage. His presence made the air uncomfortable.

“And if I refuse?” She asked, trying to be calm like Sheridan usually would when faced with a problem. Alpha Nick was not ready to give up until he got what he wanted. Gazing in the direction where his car was parked, he hinted.

“That car is not moving, and you will only be delayed longer.”

“Fuck!” Goldie cursed under her breath, hitting the steering wheel before unlocking the door. Alph.

“Take me to Sheila,” he instructed. Goldie’s shoulders dropped as she replied.

it elegantly beside her.

“I would love to, but you have to give me directions.”

Alpha Nick’s gaze darkened, and his anger flared up. “Don’t mess with me.” The coldness in his tone could freeze the sea. Goldie was glad an appreciative of Sheridan’s smartness. If she had known her location, she would have given in by now.

Especially knowing that Alpha Nick would not harm her. All he would do would be to pester her to return to his pack or to marry him again.

“Trust me, I even need her advice before signing some documents, but she locked everyone out because of you. She already knew you would this, saying she was saving us from you.”

Alpha Nick smiled bitterly. It seemed he was the only book Sheila read when she stayed at the pack, as she knew and predicted his ways like the back of her hand.

He did not intend to give up on her but was eager to confirm Athena’s words. “Tell me one thing. Was she pregnant?”

Goldie’s hands around the steering wheel tightened. How could Alpha Nick have known? Whatever the case, it was not going to be

from her as that was the reason Sheridan left.

“How am I supposed to know? You should ask Sheridan if you find her. I’d like to know too.”

It was obvious that she was taunting him, though putting on an innocent countenance. “Look, Goldie. We can stay here all day until Sheila returns. My pack is in the hands of competent people. You are the one whose absence might cause damage to your cousin’s

company.”

For the sake of pending matters at the office, Goldie reluctantly gave in. “What do you want?”

“The truth. Was she pregnant?” Alpha Nick asked seriously. Goldie apologized multiple times in her mind before responding truthfully,

“Yes.”

Alpha Nick’s eyes lit up at the confirmation of Athena’s words. That woman was so smart, without assuming the role of a Luna. He

should have listened to her more often.

Being certain that something precious bound him with Sheila, hope arose inside of him. Sheila would not get the peace she wanted by being away from him as that child would be a constant reminder of Alpha Nick in her life.

“When is she coming back? You must know something,” Alpha Nick asked with certainty. Goldie responded calmly,

“She’s not coming back until after the child is born.”

“Thank you for being honest.” He opened the door, stepped out, walked to his car, and sat back in before the bodyguard reversed and allowed Goldie to pass. His action dazed her, but she was glad to go take care of important matters.

When Sheridan returns, she will find a way of telling her about it. Alpha Nick instructed the driver, “Back to the pack. I want someone stationed at the Moonshine pack and aro

There was a calmness in his voice that was missing before. Sheila would be back, but he hoped for it to be sooner than he expected. No matter what, he was going to wait for her and their unborn child.

The bodyguard nodded his head and drove away. On their way back to the pack, his phone beeped, and he checked to see a video. Under a tree in the woods, Charlotte’s naked backside was in the air as she bent over a log. Jor rusting in and out of h

‘Alpha, I saw them and took this video. Should we stone them to death? I haven’t told or shown this to anyone yet.
