Chapter 27 Caspian Is Amazing
Timothy was dumbfounded when Caspian snatched the pistol from his hands.
He couldn’t even comprehend what had just happened. He had simply burst into laughter and his pistol
was already in Caspian’s hands.
Before anyone could realize what had happened, Caspian had disassembled the pistol into metal
scraps.
“You’re still too young to be playing with guns!” Caspian said as he tossed the disassembled parts
away.
To a battle-worn soldier like Lord Caspian, a pistol was, at best, a toy.
Willow and Zoey were both amazed by Caspian’s skills. In just a brief moment, he managed to turn the
tables and averted a dangerous situation.
They didn’t know how many tricks Caspian had up his sleeve.
Willow was the most shocked at this revelation.
The Caspian she knew was an unemployed loser.
Why was he so formidable now?
Zoey looked at Caspian with admiration. She had become his fan in that instant.
When Sylvia saw that Caspian was safe, she rushed up to Timothy and gave him a slap on the face!
Disrespecting Lord Caspian was an unforgivable crime!
Her men rushed forward as well. They pointed their pistols at Timothy and his underlings
“Stop! You’ve frightened my wife.” Caspian intervened in a hurry.
If his men killed Timothy on the spot, it would traumatize Willow for life.
When they heard Caspian’s words, Sylvia stopped in her tracks. Her men also put away their weapons.
“Caspian, I’m late. Please punish me.” Sylvia had rushed over from a faraway place, that was why she
was
a little late.
Everyone present saw how polite Sylvia was when she spoke to Caspian.
When they saw that her men were armed with guns, they couldn’t help but be curious about her
identity.”
If such an attractive and powerful woman like Sylvia was so submissive to Caspian, then who was he?
“It’s alright. I had you come to clean up the mess,” Caspian said.
Sylvia knew that. Something like this was only a minor matter to Caspian. Her job was to clean up the
mess after the chaos.
Timothy was now filled with regret. He shouldn’t have wasted time talking. He should have pulled the
trigger immediately.
When Jonathan, Xenia, and Mandy saw Timothy on the losing end, they all feared for their lives.
They were afraid that Caspian would retaliate against them.
Sylvia approached Willow, who looked bewildered. “I apologize for arriving so late, Willow. Please
punish
me.”
Although Caspian did not introduce Willow’s identity, Sylvia knew that the most beautiful and elegant
woman here must be Caspian’s wife.
This woman was a hundred times more impressive than Melanie, that gold digger.
“Are you … Are you all acting or something?”
Willow was at a loss for words. She didn’t know what to make of the situation.
Sylvia sighed helplessly. How could they be putting on an act?
At this moment, another group of men rushed in.
They were armed to the teeth with knives and iron bars.
“Boss! Where is the bastard who offended you?” The man in the lead shouted loudly.
Jonathan’s expression darkened and he trembled in fear. Seeing that Timothy was defeated, his group
of
misfits was useless.
They would only mess things up and make Caspian angrier.
“Caspian, are they here to cause trouble for you?” Sylvia asked Caspian.
He replied nonchalantly, “Yes.”
Sylvia furrowed her brows and dashed toward the group of troublemakers.
She was already feeling guilty for arriving late to Caspian’s aid.
Now that there was a group of troublemakers present, she naturally wanted to vent her frustrations on
In a few minutes, Jonathan’s underlings were all groaning on the ground before they could even react.
All they saw were Sylvia’s long legs flashing about, beating them up into a pulp.
Although Sylvia was furious, she restrained herself and didn’t use her full strength on them.
Willow’s classmates were all amazed by Sylvia’s fighting skills.
So many surprising events had happened in the last ten minutes. They couldn’t make sense of it all.
“Caspian, what shall I do with these people?” Sylvia asked.
Caspian pointed at Timothy and Jonathan. “These two idiots wanted to harm my wife. Make them.
disappear so that they learn their lesson. Some people can’t be messed with.”
Although he looked calm and spoke at an unhurried pace, the coldness in his voice sent shivers down
everyone’s spine.
It was the first time Willow had seen Caspian so stern. At this moment, he exuded a commanding aura
that captivated her.
The others didn’t quite understand what Caspian meant, but Sylvia grasped it immediately. “I
understand.”
Lord Caspian was known for being decisive on the battlefield. He never hesitated after reaching a
decision.
The reason why he had Timothy and Jonathan eliminated was to protect Willow.
Moreover, Timothy owned illegal firearms. He was a hardened criminal who deserved death. Similarly,
Jonathan bragged about his involvement in illegal activities, so he wasn’t a good egg eit. r. Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
“How about the others?” Sylvia asked again.
“They don’t matter. You can handle them,” Caspian said.
“Alright,” Sylvía replied.
“Xenia, out of consideration that you and Willow were classmates, I’ll let you go. But remember, there
won’t be a next time!” Caspian turned around and said to Xenia.
“I understand, I won’t do that again,” Xenia stammered in fear.
Caspian wrapped his arm around Willow’s tiny waist. “Honey, let’s go!”
Willow snapped out of her daze. Glancing at Zoey, she said, “Alright. Zoey, we’re leaving.”
“Everyone, let’s disperse and leave.” Caspian gestured to Willow’s classmates.
“Alright.” Everyone gradually regained their senses.
“Sylvia, settle the bill,” Caspian added. He wasn’t going to take advantage of them by having a free
meal.
“I got it,” Sylvia replied.
When they left the hotel, everyone felt like what had just happened was so surreal.
“Willow, I never expected your husband to be so capable!”
“Mr. Lynch, do you have a secret identity?”
“Mr. Lynch, I apologize for the misunderstanding earlier.”
“Willow, you’re so lucky to have such a strong husband to protect you!”
Her classmates praised Caspian effusively. Willow didn’t say much, but she felt proud of Caspian.
She knew that Caspian had indeed saved her reputation today.
“I don’t have a secret identity. I just served a few years in the military,” Caspian replied indifferently.
After a moment, he added, “On the 30th, I hope everyone can come and show your support at our
wedding. We’d like all of you to witness our happiness.”
Willow had good relationships with her classmates and most of them were good people.
Caspian decided to invite them as well.
“Of course, I’ll be there!”
“I wouldn’t miss the campus belle’s wedding for the world!”
All her classmates promised to attend Caspian’s and Willow’s wedding on the 30th.
“By the way, Willow, Mr. Lynch. Where will your wedding be held?” Yannick asked.
