Millie lifted her head and looked at Winston. Suddenly, she broke into a smile. A bad feeling arose within Winston as he instinctively shielded Joanna behind him.

The next moment, Millie tossed the photos in the envelope at Winston. Photos fluttered all around, and one even made a tiny cut on his cheek, causing him to bleed.

Millie had clearly seen Winston standing protectively in front of Joanna. She sniggered at the depth of Winston’s love for Joanna.

Winston frowned and clenched his fist. He was about to question Millie when the latter stated, “I’m here to discuss only three things.”

Raising a hand, she stared expressionlessly at Winston, looking cool but stern. “First of all, I didn’t leak the news about the fake Snowdrop herb. I looked into this scandal, and it was the media that reported on it for clicks.

“Secondly, I didn’t tip off the media about our divorce. Ms. Lowell, you leaked it to the media to force us into getting a divorce so Winston could marry you sooner.”

“Thirdly-” Millie glanced at Winston coldly when she arrived at the most important point. Winston was expecting an apology, not bringing up the past.

Millie continued, “I didn’t expose Ms. Lowell’s fake qualifications. That happened because she made some enemies.” She looked at Joanna, who poked her head from behind Winston.

Joanna was terrified when Millie scattered the photos all across the room.

Millie picked up a random photo and turned it toward Winston. He could clearly see the face of the culprit, and the truth shocked him.

Millie hissed with a sharp look in her eyes, “Yoel Marshall is the guy who exposed Joanna Lowell’s fake qualifications!”

Even Millie herself couldn’t believe that Yoel was behind the act. Had he lost his mind due to his intense jealousy of her and Joanna’s family wealth?

Millie wondered if she might be Yoel’s next target after he victimized Joanna. She thought, “How shameless and evil of Yoel Marshall to pull off such an underhanded move. How could he call himself a man? Ugh, he’s so disgusting!”

“Who did it?” Joanna’s heart sank.

Winston held up the photo of Yoe prancing furtively on the balcony outside Sebsstian’s office.

Millie shrugged. The photos across the floor proved her innocence.

Smiling at Winston’s shocked expression, she jeered, “You want an apology, don’t you? Here’s my apology!

Clutching the photo tightly, Winston looked at Millie. “Millie.”

That explained why Millie would willingly arrive at the hospital to offer an apology. However, she wasn’t here to apologize; she wanted to prove her innocence.

She held her hand up, signaling to him to shut up and listen to her. She wasn’t done yet. Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.

“Since we’re all here today, let me make it clear.” Shoving Winston out of the way, she intended to clear the air with Joanna.

She began, “Ms. Lowell, I have lost all interest in Winton Greer from the day I decided on a divorce. You don’t have to see me as your rival. Stop singling me out, threatening me, and stirring up trouble for me.

Joanna shook her head furiously. Stealing a glance at Winston, she denied, “Win, I’ve never singled Millie out. Never!”

“Joanna Lowell, whatever

you say, I am warning you for the last time–do not mess with me.” Millie pointed at Joanna’s face with an arrogant expression.

Joanna’s heart missed a beat when she looked at Millie.

No longer demure and agreeable, Millie resembled her high school self, and young Millie was a daredevil.
