Millie smiled warmly at them. “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m sorry for crashing your party last minute.”
“Don’t fret about it. Let’s take a seat!” One of the producers pointed at the table, motioning Millie to sit.
She nodded and settled into her seat alongside Thomas.
Thomas and the producers had a discussion about the preparation for a period drama. As a company owner, Thomas attempted to win the female lead role for the artist under his company.

Pointing at the glass, she said in an amused drawl, “Have a drink. Prove your sincerity to me.”
Gideon couldn’t stifle a laugh. “Why do I need to prove my sincerity? We’re just drinking.”
