The employee frowned with a look of disbelief. She asked Millie, “Are you daydreaming?”

No one had ever asked Millie that question. Kelly found Millie’s proposal hilarious, and she remarked, She’s surely daydreaming. How can she afford to buy everything?”

Scanning the surroundings, she sighed. “Roughly speaking, she’ll need at least 10 million to buy everything in the store.”

Smirking, Kelly turned to Millie, thinking, “I bet she can’t even afford to buy a bag. How dare she proposte buying all the items in the store?”

Hah!

Kelly rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. She sneered. “What’s wrong with you? Do you need some fresh air?”

To pacify Kelly, the store employee said, “Ms. Norton, please wait for me in the VIP room while I get her to leave. After that, I’ll show you the new designs in store.”

“Okay.” Kelly nodded with a look of disdain.

Why would a poor woman act like a rich lady? Pigs opuld fly if she could afford to buy everything in the store!”

Just when Kelly was about to relax in the VIP room, she saw Millie taking out a black card that shimmered under the lights..

Millie confronted the employee coldly, “Is this enough?”

The employee and Kelly froze at the sight of the black card. Even those without any concept of luxury would grasp the significance of a black card–the emblem of a wealthy individual with a net worth of over 100 million dollars in Yerwick.

“Take this card.” Millie slapped the black card in the employee’s hand before plopping onto a couch nearby with entitlement. She even wrung the water from her clothes to the floor as the employee. silently stared at her with a pale face.

Millie looked up and pointed at Kelly. She said to the employee, “What would she like? I, a Tom, Dick, or Harry, could buy it for her.”

Kelly’s face fell in embarrassment. The store employee held onto the black card helplessly in an awkward and challenging moment, thinking, “Could she really afford to buy everything? Is she actually

rich?”

Smiling at the two women in shock, Millie asked, “Any questions?”

“Is the card a fake?” Kelly insisted. The employee nodded, refusing to believe that a disheveled woman like Millie was rich.

Snickering. Millie rose and marched up to Kelly. “A fake? Take a good look at me, I’m Millie Caldwell- the daughter of the Caldwell family!”

Given the Caldwells‘ well–to–do status, using a fake credit card sounded like an absurd accusation.

The employee stumbled backward in shock when she learned about Millie’s family background.

What? This was Millie Caldwell? The precious daughter of the Caldwells and the wife of Winston Greer of the Greer Group? Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

Kelly scrutinized Millie from head to toe with a look of disbelief. Why would a Caldwell carry herself in such an undignified manner?

Crossing her arms, Millie shot a sharp gaze at the employee and Kelly.

The employee gulped and stammered an apology. “Ms. Caldwell, my mistake. I’m terribly sorry for not recognizing you. Truly sorry!”

Millie chuckled. “Oh, there’s nothing to be sorry about. A Tom, Dick, or Harry does not deserve to step foot in your esteemed store.”

With an arched brow, she added, “I wouldn’t have stepped in here if I didn’t need shelter from the rain.”

She beamed at the two women and continued indifferently, “I’ll consider this a lesson learned ‘|| never set foot in this store again.”

And with that, she turned her attention to Kelly.
