Chapter 62
His Anchor
Dimitro
I wish I could go back when I visited the human world; maybe I should have remained there with her and not returning; all these would have been a dream I would never experience.
I should have been killed a long time, I have this unusual urge to kill anyone, the wolf part of me is impatient and arrogant, but there is someone who can make me not turn into a monster; she is my life, the only anchor I have to calm myself if she is gone, I wonder what will become of me.
I caught the scent of father, "Father, are you monitoring me now? Let me guess; your son is now a beast who is capable of killing? My race wants to turn their back on me, right?"
"Son, be slow to judge okay, I knew you would be in pains. That's why I am here as your father and not as Primus. My son is not a monster or a beast; you are a vampire Prince, the next Primus." Father said, and I got shocked. I could tell he wasn't lying, maybe because of my wolf part.
"Father, I am scared of what I might become; my mother was a witch, and her blood still flows in my veins, I am a vampire prince who got injected with Lycan blood to get killed by an unknown enemy, and it turned me into a half-wolf, what am I, father? A Hybrid of all kind? The colour of my eyes has changed too."
Tears flowed from my eyes; father comforted me with a hug and said, "You are Dimitro by a son, and nothing can ever change that, okay?"
"Thank you, father."
"Can you show me the colour of your eyes?" He asked with all curiousness.
"Yes, father." I closed my eyes and opened them to father, and he shivered a little and said, "A vampire who earned the spirit of a rare Alpha, we need to protect you and everyone, a true war is coming but tell me how did you save your lover?"
I can't believe father found out about Amelia; he didn't even scold me for lying to him, then I said, "The human, a Lycan, a witch, and me been a vampire worked together to achieve the goal, and I had this strength because I feel we are all needed."
"A symbol for unity to defeat the war, this is hard to inquire. A black moon is coming soon; you need to work together again to find Freya, Dimitro. You need her cause I have this feeling she knows the villain."
I can't believe the father is asking me to work with them again; I wanted to kill them, by the way but kept thinking of my anchor.
"Father, this is not happening, I find Freya myself, but I have another confession since you already know one." I escaped his eyes. "Tell me."
"I sired a human." I can't believe I just let it out.

"What?"
"You heard me, right, son, now let's do a little training to see how strong you have become." We chuckled. Amelia
"What? You let him turn her into a vampire?" I yelled, walking to and fro in deep frustration.
"We had no choice," Catalina said.
"Our friend is not human anymore; she is now exposed to danger going out there in this scary place. God help me, please."
I kept wishing I am dreaming, and its time to wake up from it.
Martina will be a vampire now; she will crave blood; I need to accept this new fate.
"Amelia, how are you feeling now?" Gael asked, and I looked at him with resentment.
"Why did you allow Dimitro to bite Martina? You should have thought of something else." I quarrelled with him.
"She was close to death. Would you be happy if I brought her corpse on your return?"
He is kind of right, "Fine, but you have been keeping things from us, like the witch friend you made without telling me; what else should I know?"
"I am sorry Amelia, I truly am, but right about now, fighting over the past can't solve anything now; we need to think about it now; every creature here must have found out about our existence, we need to act quick, or we all are dead." "We will survive this; Dimitro will protect us as always, mostly from his wicked brother Gustavo," I said with all boldness; I believe in Dimitro a lot.
"I hope he returns to see us with the good news that we are saved and no more in great danger; I will be off to see Rebecca now and thank her for her help." He said.

"No problem, appreciate her on my behalf as well; someday, I will pay her a reasonable visitation too; I will talk to my friends now, bye."
Rebecca
This can't happen; I need to stop this prophecy from happening, the red moon already has done more evil and violence, but the dark moon, we will be losing essential persons; this is so not good.
I tried doing some magical spells to get a remedy, but all were void.
I could feel someone else is going to be in danger soon, "Oh no, Nora, how can I protect her from something I don't know that is coming? Gael also," I paused.
This dark moon must be avoided. Then I heard footsteps of someone coming in, turning around to glimpse, "Gael, I didn't know you would be seeing me today because of the reunion with your friend we rescued earlier." I said with a smile, and he rushed to kiss me, saying, "Thank you so much for the help you rendered to us, despite working with your enemies."
"Gael, I will do anything to make you happy, okay."
I jump on him, crossing him as we kiss so deep, leading to a hot romance, but I stopped immediately. I saw him filled with blood, blood gushing out from his ears, eyes, nose and mouth.
I screamed, saying, "No."
To be continued.
