Chapter 203 I Am A Nice Person
Chapter 203 I Am A Nice Person
Bruce was on the verge of bursting out in anger. He wanted to tape up Douglas Hayes' mouth so badly
so that he would not spout nonsense anymore. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
Report this to the superiors? Nathan Cross was the General for the North Army, China's Ares of the
North!
You want him to be punished? It is good enough that he is not punishing you now!
Bruce sniffed slightly and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. He continued to explain by showing
a pitiful face to Nathan and Colin, "I'm sure there are some misunderstandings here..."
Colin scoffed, "I don't think so. This man here wants to report this to the superiors. Why don't you go
ahead and do it? If I could remember correctly, you guys are under General Franklin Wilson in
Channing's Navy Division. If you don't have his number, I can call him for you!"
Colin said as he fished out his phone and called Franklin in front of everyone.
Right after the call went through and he talked into the phone, "General Wilson, I think that Douglas
Hayes' position from Channing's Armed Forces needs some adjustment. Shall we demote him to a
private and send him for some training?"
Upon hearing Colin's words, Douglas' heart skipped a beat and he knew immediately that something
bad was about to happen.
Colin placed the phone on speaker and passed it to Douglas.
The latter was shaking from head to toe. This was a call to Franklin Wilson so he dared not reject the
call. He could only take the phone from Colin quickly.
Cautiously, he greeted Franklin over the phone.
Franklin's powerful and loud voice rang from the phone, "Hayes!"
"Sir, I am here," Douglas spoke with a quivering voice as he ascertained that it was really Franklin
Wilson himself.
Franklin told him, "Hayes, why don't you go back to some basic training? I will ask Bruce to transfer you
to the Department of the Army Cook and you can work as a captain there. You will receive the notice of
your demotion soon!"
Douglas felt his world collapsed as he stood glued to his spot stunned beyond belief.
He was the Captain of the Reserved Guards, and now he had been demoted to an army cook?
Perhaps an officer like Bruce would be demoted to become a sergeant too!
It was literally sending him to hell!
Douglas stuttered in shock, "Sir, I..."
Franklin Wilson cut him off, "Alright, I'm tired and want to get some rest now. Just do as you are told."
"Also, bring Caleb Lowe and William Hayes along with you. That way you won't be so lonely."
This time, even Caleb and William were thrown into despair. The two of them were dragged into this
too!
What they did not know was that Franklin Wilson was once Nathan's subordinate.
He would not be where he was today without Nathan's training.
It didn't matter whether it was Douglas Hayes or Bruce Lennington, Franklin would not hesitate to
punish them as long as they crossed Nathan.
He hung up immediately without giving any chance for Douglas to object.
The latter could only look at Colin. His eyes were full of desperation, anger, and fear at once.
Colin looked back at him and said coldly, "Are you not going to accept defeat? I am a nice man. You
can raise your objections to me."
Raise their objections?
Douglas was demoted to the lowest level when he tried to do that earlier.
If they attempted it again, there was a good chance that Colin might just kill them all!
He admitted defeat as he lowered his head, "No. I concede defeat. I'm entirely satisfied with this
posting."
"What about you?" Colin asked as he turned to look at Bruce Lennington.
Bruce's eyes darted towards Nathan for a second before he responded, "I think this arrangement is
reasonable. I agree with it and there is no objection from me."
Douglas widened his eyes and looked at Bruce in shock and disbelief.
This man was famous for being protective and dominating. Why did he cave in so easily today?
Colin scanned the surroundings and announced, "Well, since no one has any objections, I will take
Nathan and Thomas with me now. Let's go!"
The Dragonfury soldiers stood straight in unison, lowered their rifles, and got ready to leave the place.
Meanwhile, Nathan was not in a rush to leave. His gaze moved over to Jerry and Giovanni who were
quivering at the corner.
Fixing his gaze on Jerry, he said indifferently, "Didn't I tell you to stay away the last time we met? I can't
believe you dare to offend me. Well, congratulations then, you have provoked me successfully."
Astonished and terrified, he slowly made eye contact with Nathan.
With an apathetic tone, Nathan said, "I will give the Zabinski family one month to quit the underground
business entirely. Or else, I will destroy your family myself."
