Chapter 198 Get Cross Out Here
Chapter 198 Get Cross Out Here
As they reached the hospital parking lot, William and Harry got into a Jeep.
"Have you found out who did this to my cousin?" asked William coldly.
Harry was quick to answer, "It's a guy by the name of Nathan Cross!"
William growled as he narrowed his eyes, "Who is he?"
"His wife is the boss of Cross Corporation but he doesn't have a job. He seems to be living off of her."
A loud scoff left William's lips as he said incredulously, "He is just a bum but he dares to be so
arrogant?”
"It's said that he's very close to the king of the Channing underworld, Thomas Dunn," explained Harry.
"Thomas Dunn is merely a ruffian elevated to the status of 'king'. He's practically nothing! What's there
to be so proud of?
"Gather a team of men. Let's pay a visit to this Nathan Cross!"
"Yes, sir!”
Ten o'clock at night, at Cloud Palace.
Nathan, Colin, Thomas and the Elite Eight were all having drinks together.
After Nathan found out that today was Thomas' birthday, he had called Colin and the others to come
over for a little celebration.
Naturally, Thomas had been immensely touched at the gesture.
Colin had been in charge of bringing the alcohol and had brought some of the strongest he could get
his hands on. These alcoholic beverages were so potent that they are not something ordinary people
could handle.
Several rounds later, Thomas' face was completely flushed red while Colin and the Elite Eight were all
slightly drunk. Only
Nathan seemed to be unaffected.
Colin told Nathan after he remembered something abruptly, "Sir, remember you wanted me to find out
who was behind the trouble Cross Corporation was facing?"
Nathan's eyes narrowed as he said, "It's the Zabinski family, isn't it?"
Colin blinked as he replied in a surprised tone, "Sir, if you already knew that, why did you still ask me to
investigate?"
Nathan's reply was calm. "Because I wanted to be certain.”
The rest of the men exchanged glances at their general's words. They knew the Zabinski family had
struck a raw nerve with their actions this time and their general was determined to exterminate them.
At that moment, there was a ruckus at the entrance to the restaurant.
Furrowing his brows slightly, Nathan turned to look at the direction of the noise.
"Is something happening over there?"
Thomas stood up. "You guys stay here. I'll go and check it out."
He strode towards the entrance of the restaurant, the men who had been standing guard nearby
followed him immediately.
As he approached the doors, he saw Jack and a dozen of his men facing off against another group of
thirty men. Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
The opposing group was dressed in black vests and cameo pants. They were all strongly built and
were obviously disciplined as they stood there in neat lines with their backs straight. They were clearly
not any ordinary people.
Thomas boomed as he frowned, "Cloud Palace is still undergoing renovations so we're not accepting
any customers for now. Why are you here?"
William sneered as he responded, "We're not here to eat or drink; we're here for someone. Get out of
the way, you damn
dog!"
Thomas had always been a proud man. Hearing someone call him a dog pissed him off badly and he
was close to exploding with anger.
However, as he studied the men standing before him, he realized that they reminded him of the military
with their discipline. Forcefully squashing down his anger, he shot William a dark look. "Who are you
looking for?"
Jutting his chin out arrogantly, William demanded, "Tell Nathan Cross to come out here!"
The words had barely left his lips when Nathan and the Elite Eight came out.
Nathan's lips twitched slightly as he uttered, "Who are you?"
William's gaze instantly zeroed in on him as he spoke harshly, "You're the one who broke my cousin's
arm? Very well. Are you going to come quietly or do we have to break all your limbs and drag you away
like
the dog you are?"
