Chapter 32
~Janet’s POV~
I raced back and forth across the classroom floor, wondering how on earth a nobody could be so fortunate. With each stride I take, I feel my wrath growing. Juno is the girl who lacked everything. How is this conceivable? I’m not sure why I’m so enraged. Perhaps it is because of that nobody has the two individuals I desire. There is no way I can change the fact that a nobody is dating a hot guy. Whether I count to five or take a deep breath, I can’t change that. Obviously, that guy is wealthier than Alex. I thought I wanted Alex previously, but Alex is a nobody to that guy, I vow. From a safe distance, that guy got me wet. I thought I’d been through suffering before, but the pain of watching nobody enjoy it all while I have nothing is excruciatingly terrible to bear.
Why do I have the sensation that someone is squeezing my lungs? I am unable to breathe. Why must it be her? She had a reputation for being filthy. How can such a man desire to be with a nobody? I am superior to her. I have to convince him to change his mind and look my way.
She has no choice but to go back to Alex. I am confident that this individual outperforms Alex in a variety of areas. I considered Alex to be the sexiest man alive. That gentleman is stunning and very sexy. My mind was reeling from the experience as I sank into the chair. I exhaled deeply and attempted to relax. I’m terrified I’m going to wolf out here and attack this nobody. When I saw her approaching, a growl escaped my lips. I can’t control my wolf. My beast needs to be reined in. I’m enraged by this idiotic nobody.
How did she get so fortunate?
I lowered my head and took a long breath. I resumed my counting.
She did not even acknowledge my presence. She simply sat down and placed her pricey backpack on the chair. I examined the bag that I was holding. It was considerably less than $100. She is carrying a backpack valued at about $12, 000. This is inhumane. I huffed and stepped outside to catch my breath. I’m barely able to breathe in her company. It’s difficult. She frustrates me to the point of insanity. I ran into the restroom and took a quick look in the mirror before turning on the faucet to wash my face. I sprayed water repeatedly and examined myself in the mirror to determine what made Juno so unique and what was wrong with me.
What does she possess that I lack? Why is it that my heart continues to race after seeing that man?
He does not have the scent of a wolf. However, he was more than a wolf. I couldn’t care less; I have to have him. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. After putting on a brave front, I wiped the water off my brow and returned to class. I will continue to refer to her as Luna until that man recognizes her as my Luna and leaves her so that I can have a chance with him. Right now, I need to be her friend.
With a broad smile, I took a seat next to her. Naturally, my smile is phony.
“I bid you a pleasant morning, Luna.” To be honest, I don’t have much to do here. Alex will take care of the rest. “Oh, sorry Luna, I forgot you can’t speak,” my hands rushed to my mouth. “Should I provide you with my phone number in order for you to text me your response?” She simply stared at me, unresponsive.
When did this mute become intelligent?
Naturally, I require your telephone number in order to contact you whenever I choose to irritate you. I grinned once more. I am aware that she is uninterested in speaking to me.
“Would you like to jot something down on a scrap of paper, Luna?” I received no response for the second time. “Listen, I understand our alpha was cruel to you, but he has changed. Since the day you departed, he has been on the lookout for you. Why don’t you return to your rightful home? Darrian is the product of your union with Alpha. What…?”
She didn’t wait for me to finish; she walked out with her posh backpack.
Is she going to skip class because of her dead son? Well, I didn’t ask her to get pregnant at such a young age, did I? It’s no surprise that her child perished.
Shit!
I need her to get a chance to talk to her boyfriend. I pursued her.Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
“Luna, please wait!” I screamed at the top of my lungs, hoping Alex would hear me, which he duly did.
He did, didn’t he?
I assumed he did. I mind-linked him.
“Alpha, Luna is here, outside. Be hasty!”
Suddenly, a high-end vehicle drove up in reverse. The man was driving erratically. And he came to a halt directly in front of Juno. He exited the vehicle and proceeded to Juno. In front of him, I had the opportunity to address her as Luna. He is not a wolf, but I also know he is not human, and I am certain he understands what a Luna is.
“I’m truly sorry, Luna. I didn’t mean to offend you in any way. I should not have mentioned Darrian’s name. I am aware of how much you loved him. Luna, I’m truly sorry.”
I mockingly smiled and waited for her to explain. I was unable to control my shaking legs in the presence of this man.
Who is he or rather what is he?
~REX’S POV~
I was driving to my workplace when I became aware of Reina’s discomfort. I continued driving, assuming this was her customary behavior, but I realized her pain was beginning to terrify her in some manner. Her soul screamed for help. My Reina is unaware that the more interaction we have, the more I am able to experience all she feels. And she is terrified right now, extremely terrified. I reversed my car and returned to school. She was walking away from a girl at the time. I came to a halt near to her. I could see she was surprised to see me. She came to a complete stop when she noticed me. As I prepared to open the door for her, I overheard the lady say,
“I’m truly sorry, Luna. I didn’t mean to offend you in any way. I should not have mentioned Darrian’s name. I am aware of how much you loved him. Luna, I’m truly sorry.”
What! Luna?
