Rebirth: Back To 1990s

Chapter 57 Private Talk

Chapter 57 Private Talk

Celia drove her motorcycle back to the town. She asked the tailors made a set of clothes according to her size. However, she did not make it for herself. Thanks to Lily, she could make a deal in business. Although Lily had a bad attitude before, it turned out that she was a nice person. Celia should thank her for helping her.

"So many eggs have been sold?"

Jane was surprised. Her niece was really great. Sometimes it took the villagers half a day to sell dozens of eggs in the town, while Celia just sold hundreds of eggs at such a short amount of time.

"Yes, aunt. And the price is one cent higher than the price in town. I met a good gentleman today."

Celia's face broke into a big smile too. She had completely forgotten the fact that she had left Sharon on the street.

"Good luck has finally turned to you and your mother."

She was very happy that her niece succeeded in selling the eggs. Since Celia began to sell the eggs, her living standard improved increasingly. And Celia was thoughtful and considerate, just like her own daughter.

"Yes, as I said before, our life would be better in the future. By the way, aunt, I brought you something here."

Celia took out the food she packed from the restaurant.

"How much is it? You've worked hard, and it is a waste to spend your money on such things."

They had never been to a restaurant in their lifetime, and it was the first time that they had seen such delicious food. The smell alone made her drool.

"It's okay, aunt. It is not that big of a deal. Now I finally make some money, of course I want to do something for you."

Celia didn't tell her that Sharon paid for the meal. If her uncle had known this, he would be in rage.

"You are just like me, like to squander money on those things."

Zack said. He would not buy such expensive food himself. His niece was really generous. No wonder his wife would do everything for her.

"Don't talk nonsense. Thank you, Celia. I'll take a bowl for you and you should bring some to your mother."

Said Jane.

"Okay."

"Celia, come here."

Jane suddenly shouted mysteriously in the kitchen.

"What's wrong, aunt?"

"Come here."

Apparently, she didn't want Zack to hear it.

"Where is Sharon? Didn't you sell eggs with him this morning? Why did you come back alone? Where is he?"

With a gossipy look on her face, Jane thought that Celia and Sharon would make a great couple.

"Aunt, he didn't go to the market with me. I just gave him a ride. We went separate ways when we arrive at the town."

Celia didn't want to tell her that she was staying with Sharon today. If they knew about it, her family would be in a total mess.

"Really?" Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

Said Jane with a pity.

"Otherwise, what else do you want? All I want now is to make money, and I will not think about anything else."

She said it before her aunt blamed her.

"Celia, well done! I also think he is not reliable."

Unexpectedly, Zack appeared behind them again.

"Why do you always like that? Can't I have some private words to Celia any more?"

Was he afraid that she would spoil his niece?

"Jane, let me tell you. I will not give my approval to their relationship."

Jane liked Sharon, but Zack didn't like him.

"Come on, uncle. There's nothing going on between Sharon and me. I won't consider to get married in recent years. If you keep on nagging me about it, I'll get angry."

Celia pretended to be angry.

"All right, all right."

After all, girls were all shy. Besides, it didn't seem like she was lying to him.

"Aunt, is someone coming to give you eggs today?"

What she cared about the most was her eggs.

"Yes, but only a little. After all, they had given us all the eggs they had. And one chicken can have two eggs at most in one day. It won't be so fast."

It would take some time in the egg business.

"No problem. It's not a good idea to sell eggs every day. Aunt, please ask them if they want to sell the chicken. The price is ten dollars per one, but one chicken should not less than 2.5 kilograms."

She couldn't sell eggs all the time since she didn't have enough eggs.

"Okay, no problem. The price is much higher than that they get when they go to the town. I guess there must be a lot of people who are willing to sell these,"

Said Jane.

"Thank you so much, aunt."

If Jane hadn't given her a hand these days, she really couldn't handle it all by herself. It was Jane who took care of the egg business these days.

"You are welcome. You are doing great in your business, and we will benefit from it."

Jane was smart enough to help her with the business.

"I'll go then. I'll come back at night to see how many chicken you have bought, and I need to buy ten and deliver them to the restaurant tomorrow. By the way, aunt, can you also help me inquire about the soy beans?"

Celia didn't want to just sell eggs because she couldn't make much money. She had to make a profit from various products as soon as possible. What she wanted to do most now was to sell clothes.

"Okay."

When Celia went back home, she took out some food and found that Wendy was at home alone.

"Mom, are you alone?"

She thought that Sharon should be back by a car at this time. She thought he would come to her home to get even with her.

"Yes. Mom has been in the store all day long. I don't think that people will buy anything in our small store. If it went on like that, I can't earn any money at all. I think I might as well do something else."

Wendy felt that she had nothing to do but to stay at home. Although everyone needed salt or soap, they wouldn't buy it every day. She would feel uncomfortable if she didn't get herself busy. In the past, she didn't even have a break in the Tang family.

"What do you want, mother?"

Celia knew that the store didn't make any money. Her original intention was to let Wendy take a rest. She knew that Wendy had gotten used to living a busy life, she would be bored if she had nothing to do. So that was why Celia wanted her to mind the store for the time being.
