Chapter 63 Am I Not Serious?
Madelyn knew she had feelings for him.
Perhaps she liked him because he had helped her out, or because she was Benjamin's handsome
appearance. Regardless of the reasons, she liked him.
Moreover, she wanted him to be happy when they were together, didn't she?
Yet, it made no sense that she was feeling down now!
Madelyn lowered her eyes and mumbled, "I like you!"
Benjamin gently touched her lips with his slender fingers, like he was hitting on her.
Madelyn's face flushed, and her heart was racing.
However, she didn't forget what she had to do. With her arms around his neck, she asked, "Do I have
to let Elizabeth get away with framing me?"
"Are you concerned about others' opinions?"
Madelyn, trying to please him, waited until he was in a good mood and continued, "I don't want the
children I have taught to be disappointed in me and think Ms. Green is a indecent person."
Benjamin buried his face in her neck and gave a low laugh.
"Now that Ms. Green is lying under me, is that indecent?"
Madelyn was speechless.
Although they had slept in the same bed a few times, they had never really had sex. How could she
bear to hear such a vulgar joke?
She was so embarrassed that she pushed him away and ran into the bathroom of the master bedroom.
Benjamin seemed particularly high-spirited tonight and quickly followed her.
After Madelyn washed her face and finished her skincare routine, he hugged her from behind, rested
his chin on her shoulder, and asked, "Are you mad at me?"
"No."
"How dare I be mad at you?"
Benjamin held her chin gently, turned her face to him , and kissed her lips. After kissing for a while, he
made her turn around and held her in his arms.
Madelyn didn't dare to make a move.
Benjamin stared at her and said softly, "You don't have to file a lawsuit. Leave it to me. On that day you
just need to attend the class reunion."
Madelyn hesitated for a moment and asked, "Are you going with me?"
"Is it embarrassing that I'm going with you?"
"Or do you think it's better to be with someone much older than you?"
Madelyn explained patiently, "That's not what I meant. I just don't understand why you do not keep our
relationship from others!"Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
Benjamin didn't care about it at all and replied, "We're both single. There's nothing to hide about our
relationship."
Madelyn said nothing.
Still feeling a bit dizzy, she wrapped her arms around his waist and enjoyed his embrace.
She looked sleepy.
Benjamin put her to the bed directly. Madelyn pulled the covers over herself and slept on her side...As
she was about to drift into dreams, she felt Benjamin's cool body when he finished taking a shower and
joined her in bed.
He liked her body, so he couldn't resist touching her.
Madelyn was waked up by him, but she was too tired to respond to his touch.
So, she pretended to be asleep.
From her rapid breaths, Benjamin knew that she was awake. He didn't force her and instead leaned
against her shoulder, asking in a low voice, "How many days does your period usually last?"
Madelyn's face was burning.
She hesitated for quite a while and murmured, "Five days."
Benjamin withdrew his hand, turned over and lay on his back...He decided to let her have a good rest.
...
In the early morning, Madelyn helped him with his tie.
Her pretty face was glowing in the morning light.
Benjamin took her hand and said, "You'll be attending the class reunion, right? You can go shopping
and buy some new clothes when you have time."
Madelyn had been living on a tight budget lately.
So she said to Benjamin frankly, "That will cost a lot of money."
Benjamin smiled.
Born with a silver spoon, he found her response amusing because money was never a concern for him.
He pinched her cheek and then put on his luxurious watch, saying, "Buying clothes won't cost much.
You sound like a doting wife reporting to her white-collar husband...Well, I need to buy some new shirts
as the season changes. Pick out and buy some for me when you are shopping."
Madelyn knew it was just an excuse; he already had over a hundred shirts in his cloakroom.
But women always enjoyed shopping for clothes.
She thanked him.
Benjamin leaned in, kissed her, and said, "Don't be so formal with me, Ms. Green."
