Chapter 1346 Battle With Powerful Fiends
Chapter 1346 Battle With Powerful Fiends
"Humph! You'd better watch yourself. You are dancing with death!"
yelled another powerful fiend, boiling over with fury.
This particular fiend's strength was only slightly weaker than Archie's but comparable to that of a
cultivator at the upper-level of the Celestial God Realm.
"Xavier, let's show him to his doom!"
Merle's eyes ignited with excitement, he was almost frothing at the mouth with the prospect of merging
with a fiend of such strength.
The fiend made his move before the Rule Soul Avatar even had time to respond. He was certainly
more bloodthirsty than the rest.
He strode over, the whole prison rumbling with his every step. The powerful fiendish aura began
spreading like large, puffy clouds.
"Step back!"
the Rule Soul Avatar said to Merle in warning.
"Howl!"
The fiend pounced, his massive claws pounding at the Rule Soul Avatar ruthlessly.
But the Rule Soul Avatar had managed to conceal himself and dodged the attack.

He responded with a bolt of tribulation thunder that fell on the fiend's back.
The Rule Soul Avatar immediately summoned the five black pagodas. The black pagodas circled the
powerful fiend, tens of thousands of vicious black chains extended from them and whipped at him.
An intense feeling of fear and dread began building in the depths of the fiend's heart.
"It's the scent of Flaming Hell!"
All other fiends backed off, terrified by the aura.
"Howl!"
The one under attack, however, would not give up so easily after putting up a fight. He would not allow
himself to be taken. After all, he had the strength of a master at the upper-level of the Celestial God
Realm, which was much more powerful than Turan's.
He gathered his fiend power in an attempt to force the five black pagodas apart. In order to pull it off,
he mustered all the power he could, hoping he'd be able to kill the Rule Soul Avatar in a single hit!
This fiend's strength was undoubtedly formidable. If the Rule Soul Avatar was struck, he would most
certainly be reduced to ashes!
Swish!
The five black pagodas rapidly moved to surround the Rule Soul Avatar.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The fiend's attacks smashed into the black pagodas. The force that rebounded back was so great it
shattered and broke his arms.
"Order Penetrating."
The Rule Soul Avatar gave a name to his Order Law: Order Penetrating.
Whoosh!
A string of dark red Order Law pierced through the fiend.
Crack!
The impact was so incredible that it split the powerful fiend in two!
Nobody foresaw that it would be so impressive, not even its user, the Rule Soul Avatar.
However, it did have a flaw. Even using it for just one attack left him feeling as though his Spirit Power
had been exhausted. Using it a second time was impossible for him.
Somehow, in such a brief battle, a fiend as powerful as a cultivator at the upper-level of the Celestial
God Realm had been killed!
'Wow, that's just wonderful. He's much better than I am!' Merle sighed to himself.
They were actually at the same cultivation level, but the Rule Soul Avatar was much stronger.
It was not just Merle that was astonished, the other fiends were just as taken aback. They could not
understand how the Number Three fiend of this prison had been killed so easily. More to it, it had
happened so fast they barely saw what had taken place.
It was all so unusual to them that they felt it must not have been like the methods they usually utilized.
'Who is he? Is he a highborn fiend?' they all began wondering in stunned silence. As far as they knew,
only those who had pure blood could have such endlessly powerful means.
Whoosh!
Merle wasted no time in flying right for the destroyed fiend's body, activating his Merging Force as he
soared over.
The Merging Force brought the halves back together and forced it to merge with Merle's body.
"Ahhh!" He screamed the whole time he did it, because the process was incredibly painful.
"Listen to me! Kill them all!"
Archie, the king of the prison, could not stand this any longer. He bellowed his order but got no
response. None dared to move.
All the fiends were both shocked by and afraid of the Rule Soul Avatar. They knew that if they rushed at
such a powerful opponent, all that waited for them was their own destruction. The atmosphere around
the entire area was dead still and eerily quiet.
The Rule Soul Avatar didn't move either, but released a burst of Resurrection Force to assist Merle with
his merging.
"Fine then. I guess I will have to kill you with my own two hands!" growled Archie.
Since no one else moved a muscle, he would have to do it himself.
With a booming roar, he grew larger and larger. He was a giant by the time he had stopped growing
and was armed with thick scales and a curved horn on his head.
With the Rule Soul Avatar's help, Merle was able to complete his merging faster than normal.
Whoosh!
Merle attacked first, before the Rule Soul Avatar even had a chance. He raised his diabolical claw and
pounced on Archie with terrifying ferocity.
Bang!
It had never occurred to Archie that his dead assistant would come back to life this way, and attack him
as well!
The blow hit him in his chest with a thunderous crash and broke all his ribs.
"Howl!"
Archie was now a being of total annoyance and rage, his head filled with nothing but the thought of
killing.
His huge claw, like a black star, struck out so fast that Merle had no time to dodge it.
The strike pummeled Merle to pieces.
The Rule Soul Avatar glanced at the scene coldly, releasing the Resurrection Force once more to
repair Merle's body this time.
The five black pagodas then encircled the Rule Soul Avatar again. Tens of thousands of black chains
flailed and slashed out like tentacles. The fiends all shivered when they felt the intense aura of Flaming
Hell.
Archie shivered as well, against his own will, but his anger still grew. Fueled on by his rage, he
launched another attack, this time at the Rule Soul Avatar.
He lunged over, his huge claw out.
It shattered the space before it.
The Rule Soul Avatar, on the other hand, had no intention of taking the hit directly and concealed his
body.
Crack!
The space around him suddenly shattered like a broken mirror, shaking his figure out.
The Rule Soul Avatar was startled. He realized that he had been too careless. Even Turan, who was
relatively weaker, could have driven him out of the space. He should have expected that this so-called
king of the prison would be able to do it.
What was more, this prison was not all that big, with walls around it that could not be penetrated. He
only had a small space to hide, making it fairly easy for his opponent to find him.
Archie seized his opportunity to lock the Rule Soul Avatar down and repeatedly threw his enormous
claws at him.
The Rule Soul Avatar had no way to escape!
Merle's body had not yet fully come back together and so he could not be of any help to him.
The Rule Soul Avatar now felt the bitter taste of death as he felt his end coming.
Despite this, he was by no means panicked. He gathered his Spirit Power and began analyzing his
situation, trying to plan a way out.
He soon came up with two possibilities.
The first was that he would voluntarily melt his body into powder, escape the attack and restore himself
with his Resurrection Force once he was safe.
He had done this before to escape the Immortal Lord's pursuit.
Now, however, there were downsides to doing this. Archie's attacks were effective over a large range of
space; it would be easy for him to cover the entire prison. Even if he turned to tiny particles, the attacks
might still smash him to pieces.
His second option was to use the Time Law. With this, he could set a simple time trap around himself
and it might deflect Archie's attack and take it to the past or future.
But the downside was obvious. The Rule Soul Avatar had only roughly mastered the most basic and
simplest Time Law. Whether he could manage such a powerful attack was an uncertain possibility.
Archie's attack would land any moment now, he had to make a choice quick.
"Time trap."
After calculations and considerations, the Rule Soul Avatar decided on his second option.
A colorful light twinkled around him, forming a simple time whirlpool.
"What? Time?"
"Interesting!"
At that moment, from the central palace of Naters Empire, several pairs of grey eyes cast cold stares at
this city.
