Quite a few people were participating in this project, with many renowned directors in attendance.
Linda's presence wasn't surprising to them, given the extensive online buzz surrounding her relationship with William. These directors were well-informed and aware of the ongoing discussions.
Lindawaited outside like the others. Some of the attendees began to subtly mock her, suggesting she was only there because of her resources.
"The staff from my company told me this was a key project distributed from above, so there shouldn't be any favoritism. I didn't expect to see it happening here."
"Let's just go home after we get in since we won't be selected anyway. With insiders here, we're just supporting roles."
"There's nothing we can do but work hard. In this society, hard work alone isn't enough. If no one is willing to support you financially, you're nothing."
Linda found these comments laughable. She stood up and addressed the group directly
"Dear seniors, perhaps you are my predecessors, and I am still young. I'd like to say a few things, which might not be very polite. I hope you can be magnanimous and not take it© 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.
"Firstly, I don't deny that I have resources. Before this project was officially assigned, I was already working with the Cultural Tourism Bureau to produce a short film promoting Cheshire traditional culture. Besides a bit of money, there's nothing remarkable "If working with official bodies counts as having connections, then my background must be quite impressive.
"Finally, whether one is a supporting role depends entirely on personal ability. I'm here to compete fairly with everyone. My confidence in my own abilities is why I'm standing

"So, why the mockery? Your words don't hurt me. They only make you seem ridiculous."
After speaking, Linda returned to her seat. The people who had made the earlier comments were left speechless. They hadn't expected Linda to confront them so directly and lay everything out in front of everyone.
Linda had always been open about her resources. There was no shame in having support. It was far better than struggling alone in obscurity.
When it was finally her turn to enter the meeting, she found that the project team consisted of highly reputable directors who had been involved in numerous large-scale projects. Clearly, they were skeptical about a young woman in her 20s handling such a significant and prestigious project.
"Ms. Felix, promoting traditional culture and preserving intangible cultural heritage requires great patience and individual skill. Do you believe you are capable of handing this?"
Linda nodded in response "I'm confident in my abilities. Although I entered the industry later and have less work, the overall feedback has been positive,
"Recently, I've collaborated with the Cultural Tourism Bureau on a short film promoting culture, which has given me some relevant experience. I'm here today because m confident in my work capabilities and hope you will give me this opportunity. After the meeting, the sore crowded hallway was now empty. Linda picked up her bag and let
