Lina entered the room empty-handed this time. She casually sat down and said, "I remember you mentioned in Usna that you worked with porcelain.

"It might be a good idea to start from that, especially since Javelin City's porcelain is quite renowned and relates to their local folklore."

Javelin City reminded Linda of what she had previously done for William. She wondered how much she had loved him back then to learn so much just for one person.

When she made that porcelain gift for William, he seemed indifferent and even slightly disdainful, which she attributed to his feelings about the person giving the gift rather than the gift itself.

"I'll think it over," Linda replied with a neutral expression and tone, revealing no emotions.

Many things related to William were not well-known to outsiders, and even Chloe didn't know much. Linda did not want to bring them up, and they wouldn't ask, either.

After Wendy left the office, Lina continued, "Do you remember Ida Clay?"

If Lina hadn't brought her up, Linda might have forgotten about Ida. "What happened?"

"Apparently, William has taken action. Didn't they already start gathering evidence before? They said they'd wait and see how the final verdict turns out."

Linda was not overly concerned with Ida's situation. It wasn't due to a lack of interest, but because she knew others would handle it.

"The trial was scheduled for May, but William intervened, and it's now set for the day after tomorrow. It's almost certain that the death penalty will be imposed given the case's severity."

Linda was aware of that. "I want to visit her."

Lina was stunned by Linda's unexpected statement. "Are you serious? You want to see her?"

Linda smiled sweetly. "I prefer to add insult to injury."

In response to that, Lina gave her a thumbs up.
