Never Blinded by Love (Linda and Wilson)

Never 232

William was somewhat surprised to receive Lexi's call during working hours, especially since he had called earlier and was told she was at the office.

"Yes, Lexi? Is something wrong?" William was always gentle with Lexi, much like a doting father. Even though she wasn't his biological child, he cared for her deeply.

"Uncle William, there's something I need to ask you, but I'm not sure if you'd be willing to help," Lexi said cautiously.

William replied with a warm smile, "Of course I'd be willing. Whatever you need my help with, I'll make sure to do it as long as I'm able to."This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.

He wasn't just saying that as a formality, it was the truth. If Lexi asked for something and he could do it, he would. It was a way to make amends for his past wrongs with Linda. Since Linda refused his offers to help, William had chosen to focus on Lexi as children were innocent.

William understood that taking advantage of this innocence wasn't ideal, but he couldn't think of a better way to make things right. Linda's resistance to him had become unchangeable.

He had considered many ways to try to make amends with Linda, but each time, the putcome was her refusal.

Reflecting on it, he understood why things had turned out this way. If William had been willing to uncover the truth back when everything happened, perhaps it wouldn't have come to this. Their child might not have been lost in the first place.

No matter what had blinded William's eyes in the past, Linda could no longer trust him.

Her only connection to William now was through Lexi. Without Lexi, there would likely be no contact between them.

Linda delegated company matters to others and rarely showed up unless absolutely necessary. The reason she avoided appearing was simple-she didn't want to interact with

William.

"It's like this..."

After Lexi explained to William, she eagerly awaited his response.

William paused for a moment, considering his reply. "Lexi, I'd be happy to agree to this. But first, is your mom on board with this? And how does your dad feel about it?"

Just then, Lina took over the phone. "Hi, Mr. Wilson, this is Lina Smith. I believe you know me. This reality show project is funded by our company, aiming to generate more buzz for Ms. Felix's upcoming film." She continued, "Combining Mr. Lynch's, Ms. Felix's, Lexi's, and your presences would create an immense amount of attention. This could greatly benefit the film's promotion and the company's growth. "Originally, Mr. Lynch and Ms. Felix were supposed to participate with Lexi. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Mr. Lynch won't be available for the entire show. "After discussions with the production team, we concluded that inviting you to participate could be a viable solution."
