Never Blinded by Love (Linda and Wilson)

Never 160

Chapter 160

When Simon and Celine couldn't handle it anymore, Samson stepped in to say, "The child is too young to meet all of you, and I'm also concerned that some might take photos of her and post them online.

"It's not that I doubt any of you here, but there are many who might fake their intentions. I'm very protective of my daughter's safety, and I hope everyone understands.

"As a father, I want my daughter to grow up carefree. I appreciate everyone's concern for her, but we don't really need it. Lastly, Happy New Year to everyone!"

With that, he turned and left, ignoring all the bewildered relatives.

Samson had always not cared about familial ties. To a businessman, those things were meaningless.

He looked down on people who managed their families poorly and lived beyond their means. That was especially the case if those people weren't working hard to feed their families and had to leech off someone else instead.

Samson didn't place much importance on family or romantic relationships. He only cared about his personal interests.

Of course, Lexi now fell within that scope of care. Though she wasn't his biological child, she had grown up in his arms.

The relatives knew Samson well. They wanted to speak but dared not do so.

The Lynch Group was thriving, and they had to rely on the Lynch Group for a living. The company would eventually be handed over to Samson. Their future wouldn't be promising if they offended him now. They all had their gossipy side, but if gossiping would affect their

quality of life, it was best to avoid it.

Samson returned to the backyard. Linda and Lexi were crouchin the ground, figuring out how to assemble the kit.

Lexi excitedly called out to Samson when she saw him, "Dad, c here! Mommy and I can't figure this out."

He walked over to pick up the kite and its parts and placed them the table. In just ten minutes, he had it assembled. Linda couldn't help but marvel. "Are you men naturally talented at assembling things?"

"It's not so much talent. These things are just easy to figure out a glance."

Lexi happily clapped her hands. “Daddy, you're amazing!"© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

She then eagerly followed Samson around.

Linda sat on the swing, watching the father and daughter play in th garden from a distance. Her phone rang in her pocket.

As usual, it was an unfamiliar number. It was most likely William wh had called.

Linda was in a good mood for the New Year. She figured she didn' want to spoil her mood and decided to hang up.

Her mood soured every time she talked to William. She couldn't afford to create any unhappiness for herself today.
