It was evening by the time Linda finished her meeting and returned to the villa.
Lexi was still awake. She insistently clung to Samson and demanded to watch TV together.

Linda chuckled. "I just heard a pretty girl named Lexi say she's happy that her daddy didn't go to work this afternoon and stayed home with her."

"Did something happen?" Linda asked.
Samson wouldn't skip work unless there was a problem.
Samson explained, "Lynch Group had an issue. I had just arrived at work this morning when I received a call from the secretary. I went over, handled the problem, and had lunch, Since there wasn't much else to do, I decided to come home and spend time with Lexi.
