Chapter 152
Selina knew Lloyd was a world-class professional racer and had even competed against "Flying Shadow." In her past life, she had been thrilled to discover their connection, hoping might bridge the gap between them. But Lloyd had crushed that hope without a second thought. Right in front of Selina, he had taken Ashley's hand, coldly declaring she could never replace Ashley in his heart.
it
Selina was nothing more than a cog in the Harvey family's machine useful, perhaps, but ultimately disposable. He made it clear that she was to play her role and be content with the inheritance that kept her comfortable but forever on the outside looking in.
What made it worse was that Selina, as "Flying Shadow," had beaten Lloyd twice on the track. She feared revealing this would only deepen his resentment, widening the chasm between them. So, she kept her secret buried.
But in this life, she finally got to hit back. Slapping Lloyd with her victory on the track. felt even better than she'd imagined.ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
Lloyd was left speechless as his confidence, built on past victories and experience, crumbled. He had thought he could defeat "Flying Shadow," but it turned out to be nothing but a pipe dream. On the final lap, Selina left him in the dust. The realization that Selina was his elusive rival sent Lloyd's world crashing down.
Ashley and the others rushed to Lloyd's side. "Lloyd! Are you okay?" Ashley's voice was filled with concern, but Lloyd couldn't muster a response.
The revelation that Selina was "Flying Shadow," the racer who had bested him, was a blow far worse than any physical injury. It drained him of his strength, leaving him. utterly defeated.
Ashley and the others had heard Selina's conversation with Lloyd from a distance. Manuel was extremely shocked to learn that Selina had a hidden identity - she was actually "Flying Shadow," the opponent who had defeated Lloyd and whom he had been searching for all this time.
In a way, Manuel's and Lloyd's situations were strikingly similar. Manuel had admired. Selina as his idol, while Lloyd had seen her as his rival. With her true identity revealed, both men were left in shock.
Ashley, meanwhile, seethed with anger as she watched Selina revel in her victory. She thought to herself, 'Doesn't this win just make Selina stand out even more? Now Trevon and Charley will be even more obsessed with her!"

"Selina, you returned to the Harvey family with so many secrets what's your

endgame?" Quinton-demanded.
First, Selina had shocked them all by revealing she was the world-renowned jewelry designer "Angel. Now, she had been unmasked as "Flying Shadow," the racer who had defeated a world champion.
Quinton couldn't help but wonder, 'How many more hidden identities does Selina have? And why had she concealed them if she was so impressive from the start? Wasn't
she
supposed to be just a country girl who hadn't even finished middle school? All of this is verifiable and could have been investigated. Yet now, she's unveiling layers of her real identity that seem almost too incredible to be true.' Quinton found himself questioning everything. even his own grip on reality.
But when Selina turned her icy gaze on him, he felt an unsettling chill run down his spine. That one look made him feel exposed, as if she could see straight into his soul. A pang of guilt gnawed at him, though he had no idea why. 'Damn it! Why should I feel guilty? This is all Selina's fault,' he thought.
"Dad, please stop..." Manuel stepped in, trying to defuse the situation. One Lloyd was bad enough, but he didn't want his father to fall into the same trap of regret and guilt that had ensnared him. There was no turning back from that. But Quinton, fueled by anger and frustration, shoved Manuel aside. "Enough, Manuel. Step aside. I'm teaching Selina a lesson."
"Teaching me a lesson?" Selina laughed out loud, as if Quinton had just told the funniest joke she had ever heard. "And what position are you using to teach me a lesson, Mr. Quinton Harvey? As the Chairman of Harvey Group?"
I'm your dad! Your biological father! Where do you get the nerve to talk to me like this?" Quinton shouted.
Selina's expression hardened. "Have you forgotten that I'm no longer part of the Harvey family registry and have cut all ties with you? Are you having trouble remembering?"
"Even so, you still have the Harvey blood in your veins. Your mother and I gave you life. No matter how much you try to sever ties, you can't erase that!" Quinton said angrily.
Selina almost wanted to give him a round of applause for his audacity. She now truly understood just how far someone could go in being utterly shameless and boundless in their behavior.
-
"Now you remember Selina is your daughter? Let me tell you it's too late! Even if you got on your knees and begged Selina to come back, it wouldn't happen. You thought you could bully Selina while I wasn't around? Think again!" Lydia stormed over, her 23
eyes blazing with fury.
Quinton, who had never been spoken to so rudely, especially by someone so young, was flushed with rage. "How... How dare you talk to me like this?"
"Is that all you know how to say? Who do you think you are, some kind of high and mighty ruler? In my opinion, you're not even worth a speck of dust. So, yes, I dare to speak to you like this," Lydia shot back, hands on her hips, unafraid of Quinton's bluster. Selina's lips curled into a cold smile. "Lydia's right. You mean nothing to me, so why should I waste my time being nice to you? You might as well find something else to do because you're not worth my effort."
"Mr. Quinton Harvey." Trevon's voice, cold and cutting, sliced through the air. Quinton turned, startled to see Trevon standing there, his eyes dark and unreadable.
Quinton stiffened. "Mr. Brady, I know what you're going to say-"
"No, you don't," Trevon interrupted, stepping forward with an imposing presence that made Quinton feel small. "My wife has nothing to do with you. No matter how many identities she has outside, with me, she only has one Mrs. Brady. She's my wife, and she has no connection to the Harvey family."
"He is right. I'm Mrs. Brady now, and I have absolutely nothing to do with you anymore," Selina said, lifting her chin defiantly. She moved closer to Trevon, wrapping her arm around his, staking her claim in front of the Harvey family.
Ashley, watching this unfold, seethed with jealousy. Seeing Trevon and Selina together, so perfectly matched and dazzling, made her feel an overwhelming sense of envy, barely able to contain her desire to take Selina's place. Quinton wanted to argue, but before he could say anything, Sara gently pulled him. back. "Let it go, honey. Let's just take Lloyd and leave."
