MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Liam entered his office taking off his coat, he wondered how on earth he was supposed to bear this little girl’s presence.

Chloe entered his office taking a seat on the white fluffy sofa. “You know big bro I love this sofa can you get it in pink design for me?”

Liam stared at her for a brief moment, he couldn’t help but wonder why girls are obsessed with the colour pink.

“You are alone with me now so you better keep that little hole of yours shut!” he scolded.

“Are you upset with me? I promise I won’t speak” she replied pouting her lips.

Liam returned back to work while she dozed off..

Amelia returned home and was greeted by complete silence, she pulled off her gold heels whimpering slightly.

“Aww I can’t feel my ankles anymore” she whined massaging her ankles for a while.

She went up to Brianna’s room to find her reading a magazine.

“Hello mum” she greeted happily joining Brianna on the bed.

Brianna closed the magazine and faced Amelia in worry. “Dear did Liam do anything stupid today? he didn’t kill anyone right?”

Amelia held both her hand to assure her “When I’m with Liam there’s nothing to worry about, I managed the whole situation and he gave them a good punishment that they truly deserve, he stripped them of their identify” Amelia happily narrated the incident.

“What do you mean?”

“Liam chased everyone of them out of the house, you missed the shock expression on that arrogant old Grayson’s face hmp!”

Brianna sighed in relief at least he didn’t kill anyone, she really wanted to tell everyone about old Grayson’s ways but she was threatened at that time.

“My son has gone through enough because of me”

Amelia touched Brianna’s face “Mum don’t feel bad I’m here now and you can have my word that I won’t let him out of my grip that easily” She jested while laughing out.

“fine then I have a surprise for you two but I’ll tell you what it is tomorrow morning”

They heard the screeching sound of car driving into the compound.

“He is back! go and keep him company” Brianna said with a wink…

Amelia returned to her room but Liam was nowhere in sight, she heard the sounds of water rushing in the bathroom, soon after he came out with a hand towel wiping his hands.

“Where is little Chloe?” Amelia asked.

Liam narrowed his eyes at her “Who’s that?”

Amelia walked to him and pulled his tie “I’m talking about your step sister”

“I handed her to a maid don’t worry she is in safe hands” Liam said with his fingers crossed.

“I’m having an early morning shoot Liam do set the alarm before going to bed”

Liam removed his cufflinks placing it on the vanity table. “An early morning shoot?”

“Yup! I have to be there before eight in the morning I don’t wanna miss the sunrise”

Liam was confused and his whole expression said it all. “Enlighten me more about your shoot”

“It’s all about a kissing scene” she said with a shrug.

Liam stared at her face from the mirror which showed no hesitation.

“Come again?”

“you heard me as far as you don’t have any problem with it”

Liam caught her arm pulling her to stand in front of him “A kissing scene? really? so you would just go ahead and kiss a random man!”

A small sigh escaped Amelia’s lips as she stared at Liam in shock.

“Kelvin isn’t a random man okay?”

Liam was taken aback of all other male actors why him?

“well that makes everything worse! I don’t appreciate it when other men ogle at you or try to touch you in anyway”

Amelia lifted a brow at his attitude “Geez it’s just a kiss why is it such a big deal for you?”

“I’m your husband remember? I have to give my consent” Liam defended.

“Well too bad for you I don’t need your approval for anything I do things according to my own terms and rules”

Amelia felt her back touched the wall in mere seconds, Liam lifted her face with his finger staring deep into her eyes.

Her heart skipped beats as Liam’s face came closer to hers slowly.

Liam’s lips slammed against her’s she felt a swarm of butterflies dance around in her tummy, Her hands went around his neck to support herself and deepen the kiss.

Their tongues intertwined as they both fought for dominance, Liam lifted Amelia who quickly wrapped her legs around his waist.

Liam pulled back staring at her face for some seconds “Amelia be honest with me, are you willing to stay with me or are you just fulfilling your role as a wife?” he whispered into her ears sending shivers down her spine.

Amelia opened and closed her mouth unable to utter a single word, luckily for her someone knocked on the door.

Liam dropped her carefully before going to the door, he already had a hunch on who it could be but he prayed silently against it.

He opened the door to reveal a maid and his step sister, of course! who else would it be?

“Master I really tried to tuck her in to sleep but she kept on asking for young miss”.

Chloe rubbed her eyes slightly holding a stuffed pink teddy bear.

Amelia recognized the bear, she recalled buying that when she did a shopping spree.

“There’s no problem she can pass the night here”

“No!” Liam objected to it immediately.

Chloe’s eyes teared up, she quickly ran to Amelia who lifted her up.

“Hush, I’ll put you to sleep okay?”

Liam dismissed his maid and closed the door shut, his eyes went to the little girl who just ruined the moment.

“Did you have dinner?” Amelia asked to receive a nod.

Liam angrily walked into the closet, Chloe’s sight alone annoys him.

Amelia helped Chloe lay on the huge bed before joining her. “What is going on in your little mind”

Amelia said tapping Chloe’s little nose.

“He doesn’t like me but I did nothing wrong” she pouted pulling her bear’s ears.

“I’m sure he does”..

Liam returned back to the room after a while to find most of the space taken.

Amelia placed her finger on her lips to stop Liam from talking, it took quite sometime to make her fall asleep.

Liam shook his head in pity for Amelia who was falling for Chloe’s cute trap, this was one of the main reasons he disliked children of her age they are little devil’s in cute faces.

He pushed her small frame towards Amelia’s part of the bed. “If she crosses that boundary I’ll break her tiny bones” Liam threatened.

“You are a heartless brother, just assume she was your child would you still treat her this way?”

“You suddenly want a child? well you won’t be able to have your own child with her staying on our bed!”

Amelia’s face flushed red as she decipher the meaning behind his words.
