My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul

Chapter 708

Natalie took a deep breath, her hands still tightly clasped. “Mom, Dad, Jeremy, I’m sorry. I’ve made up my mind. We should get a divorce.”

Eleanor and Morton stared at Natalie, unable to accept her decision.

Natalie couldn’t bear to meet their eyes. As soon as her words were out, Jeremy’s intense gaze made it even harder for her to face him.

“I will still see Jeremy and you both as family,” she continued, her voice trembling. “But perhaps it’s fate’s doing. I can’t deceive myself any longer. Our marriage ends here.”

She finally looked at Jeremy, meeting his sorrow–filled eyes. At a loss for further words, Natalie waited silently for Jeremy’s response.

With both sets of parents present, the outcome was clear.

After a long pause, Jeremy finally spoke. “Alright, we’ll get a divorce.”

The parents exchanged glances, their eyes reddened with emotion. The thought of their children divorcing was unimaginable. They had envisioned a future with grandchildren, never considering the possibility of separation.

Edwin and Molly had just returned from Avalon Residence after visiting Ernest Martin. Ernest was Gloria’s husband, Jasper Martin’s brother, and

Edwin’s uncle.

Edwin held an ancient scroll of painting, its age evident even in its rolled–up state, exuding a rich sense of antiquity

The scroll had an almost irresistible allure, drawing one’s gaze subtly.

Jenny took a while to refocus after being captivated by the scroll.

“You’re the daughter of the maid Joe raised?” Molly asked, recognizing Jenny.

Edwin, though forgetting her appearance, remembered her existence. He

studied her pure and lovely face.

“Yes, Mr. Martin, Mrs. Martin, I’m Jenny Scott,” Jenny responded respectfully. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

Molly’s gaze sharpened. “Have you been waiting long?”

“Not at all. I’ve only just arrived a few minutes ago.”

Edwin glanced at Molly, who understood immediately. “You must have come to see us about something. Does Joe know you’re here?”

Jenny looked a bit nervous. “Joe doesn’t know. I didn’t tell him. Actually, he’s too busy to answer my calls right now. His focus is entirely on Skylar. Oh… I misspoke. Joe is very busy right now.”

They might not yet know about Joe and Skylar’s marriage. If they did, they probably would disagree. After all, Skylar came from a humble

background and lacked notable standing.

Molly and Edwin saw through Jenny’s intentions, with Molly immediately recognizing the manipulative tactics Jenny was using.

“Let’s have some lemon tea first,” Molly said gently.

Skylar was discharged from the hospital three days later. Her wounds were healing well, but the doctor recommended a regimen of expensive scar creams to minimize their appearance.
