Marry Ex’s Uncle After Divorcement By Jacqueline Chapter 542
Cristina said, “I haven’t seen your new home yet! Why don’t I come to your place for the holiday?” Theresa said, “Sure. You’re not going home?”
Cristina frowned. “What’s there to go back to? I have no place in that family, do I?”
Cristina’s parents got divorced when she was very young.
Her father married her stepmother and had more children. Now, she was like a stranger in the family.
She did
go home for the holiday last year, but she ended up coming back within two days. That home made her
feel out of place. Even her father felt like a stranger to her.
Theresa took a look at Cristina and felt sorry for the girl.
She asked, “By the way, how are you and Eugene doing?”
“Same as usual,” Cristina said. “I have been staying with him these days. I have no choice. He said he would go to Charlie about the kids if I didn’t stay there. He is a mean person, isn’t he? I don’t know what he wants to do. He is nice to me, but I have no feelings for this jerk now. I just feel uncomfortable when I look at him.” Hearing Cristina’s words, Theresa remembered what Jack had said about Eugene when she had dinner with
him.
She turned to Cristina and said, “Actually, Eugene came to see me.”

“He said that he wanted to marry you and asked me to put in a good word for him.”
“Huh?” Cristina glanced at Theresa in disbelief. “You’re lying to me. How is that possible?”
Eugene wanted to marry her?
That was the funniest joke in the world.
“I’m telling the truth. He said that when he first came back. He had been so irresponsible to you before, so I
didn’t tell you. I was afraid he would hurt you.”
Cristina said, “He isn’t a good man.”
When Eugene left, she had been upset for a long time.
She hated people who disappeared without a word for years.
Now he was shameless enough to come back and get into her life as if nothing had happened.
However, she would never have her heart set on him again..
Theresa said, “Well, have you ever thought that he might have his reason.”
“Stop, knock it off,” Cristina said. “Don’t tell me that, Theresa! I don’t want to hear it. Eugene and I are not
going to work out. When you are done with Charlie, I will leave him and never get involved with him again.” Theresa could tell from her words that Cristina truly resented Eugene now, so she didn’t say
anything more. When they arrived at the hotel, Theresa and Cristina checked in with the two kids. The hotel staff arranged a
family suite for them.
This way, all four of them could stay together.
Cristina opened the door and stood on the balcony, looking out at the snowy mountain. “Wow, this is so cool. Is this a place for someone like me? Theresa, this friend of yours is so generous.
“Charlie’s friend, to be exact.” Theresa was not stupid. She knew Daphne had invited her because of Charlie. After all, their families were on good terms.
In the hotel, Theresa sent a message to Daphne and then lay down on the couch. Leonard came running over and said, “Shall I give you a massage?”
Theresa looked at the little boy and smiled. “You know how to massage?”
“Yeah.” With that, he climbed up.
Theresa sat up on the couch. Leonard started to massage her shoulders vigorously.
Cristina came back from the balcony. After posting moments, she looked at Leonard and said, “Leonard, come
here. Give me a massage too.”
Leonard said, “No, you can do it yourself.”
“Brat, how can I do it myself? Humph, you’re not nice to me at all. I’ll steal your mother at night!”
Leonard kept massaging Theresa’s shoulders and ignored her.
Theresa was exhausted after driving for two hours, so she took a break before taking the two kids downstairs
with Cristina to the restaurant for dinner.
