Chapter 653
Chapter 653
Charlie didn’t move. Earlier, he returned to his company to get some files before going back home.
From his car window, he saw a woman get down the car-it was Sarah.
Closing his eyes, Charlie ignored her.
Johnathan asked Sarah, “Why are you here?”
Sarah pretended to be fearful. “Are you OK? Sorry for that. I didn’t concentrate earlier.”
“You are driving on the wrong side, OK?” Jonathan thought she was a psycho. “Why is she here? Who let her in?” he asked.
Soon, he called some security guards over.
The security guard who had been watching her hurriedly ran over and greeted him, “Good evening, Mr.Gay.”
“What’s going on?” Jonathan asked, “I should have told you never to let her enter. If Mr. Calsis sees her, he’ll be angry again.”
Charlie detested Sarah to the extreme and didn’t want to see her.
The security guard explained, “Her car was parked here earlier, and she wanted to drive it away. I followed her in.”
“How did she park her car here?” Jonathan scowled at him, thinking it was a bad day indeed.
The security guard answered, “Mrs. Calsis let her in earlier today.”
Looking at Jonathan, Sarah pretended to defend the security guard, “Please don’t blame him, Jonathan.
It wasn’t his fault. I… I went to pick up the children with Auntie Leticia, so I took her car and left my vehicle in the villa. I came over to drive it back home later. When I was about to leave, I was unfamiliar with the road in the villa, so I caused trouble.”
Hearing her mention the kids, Jonathan looked at her. “Did you go with Mrs. Calsis to pick up the children in the morning?”
Sarah nodded. “Yes, I did. I told Auntie Leticia where Theresa stayed. By the way, where is Charlie? I heard he also went to pick up the boys in the afternoon. Has he taken them home?”
Johnathan frowned at her, his eyes full of alertness.
Sarah added, “You know what? Theresa must be nuts. When we arrived at her house, she refused to let us take the children away. I also called the police. However, she said something to Auntie Leticia. After the police arrived, Auntie Leticia didn’t tell them Theresa had kidnapped the children but scolded me.”
Jonathan recalled Leticia angrily scolded Charlie after returning home, wondering what had happened.
The security guards arrived. After checking both cars, one said to Jonathan, “The vehicles are both OK, Mr. Gay.”
“Help her drive out. Let her leave.” Jonathan glanced at his car, only to find the light was on. Charlie didn’t get off.
He could tell Charlie was in a bad mood, so he didn’t want Sarah to show up in his face. NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.
The security guard glanced at Sarah, drove her car to the roadside, and let Charlie’s car pass.
Charlie didn’t get down until the car was parked at the house entrance.
He asked Jonathan sternly, “What happened?”
Jonathan answered, “Sarah was in the car. She went to pick up the boys with Mrs. Calsis earlier.”
“Did she?”
Jonathan explained, “She said she had told Mrs. Calsis where Theresa stayed. She also said she had called the police, aiming to ask them to take the children away, but Mrs. Calsis scolded her.”
Frowning, Charlie entered the house.
Leticia was home, and so was Robert.
Seeing Charlie, Leticia asked, “Did you go to see Theresa? How did it go?”
Charlie curled his lips. “I’m exhausted. Please excuse me.”
Before his parents responded, he went upstairs.
Jonathan looked at his figure and greeted Robert and Leticia politely, “Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Calsis.”
