She peeked at Vicky and continued to weep. “She liked it and wanted me to let
her have it. We had a fuss. about it, and everyone in the shopping mall knew
about it.”
“Oh, I think I remember it. I was there too that day and I saw Miss Sparks and
Vicky fight because of the bracelet. In the end, it was… Miss Sparks‘ brother
stepped in and ended the fight,” the girl who said that suddenly thought of

one dared to discuss it.

and excited many socialites who were jealous of Vicky.
Someone said, “Miss Shaw, the bracelet is really important to Maria. Why don’t
you return it to her? It’s Missus Mills‘ birthday dinner tonight. It’s not good to
cause a scene. Even if you don’t consider the others, you should at least think
about Mister Hart.”
Vicky was surrounded in the middle. Everyone had their eyes on her like many
