Love at the 1976

Gulp, gulp… Santiago took a few big gulps of wine, then suddenly flipped in
the air and kicked Gwain’s wrist.
Gwain’s hand went numb, and his sword flew out of his grasp. Desperate, he
lunged to catch it, but Santiago was quicker–grabbing his foot instead.
“How is this possible?!” Gwain’s expression changed. He couldn’t grasp
Santiago’s erratic moves, completely throwing off his rhythm in the battle.
“Relax, have some wine!” Santiago pulled hard, his raw internal strength
yanking Gwain down like a machine dragging him.
Gwain wasn’t weak by any means. He tried using his Noble Sword to steady
himself, but Santiago’s internal strength was on another level. He even
managed to put more pressure on it, bending the sword dangerously close
to snapping.
Later, Gwain slammed his palm into the ground to twist his body into a
counterattack, executing a flashy and deadly Thunderfang Strike aimed at

freeing himself.
However, Santiago was ready. With a smirk, he ducked low and landed a
cheap shot right where it hurt the most.
“Ugh!” Gwain’s face turned red from the pain. He hadn’t anticipated Santiago
to fight so dirty.
Santiago then jumped up, wrapping his legs around Gwain’s neck–not to
choke him but to force wine down his throat, laughing. “How’s the wine?”
Gwain was writhing in torment. Between the sharp strike and being forced to
drink, the whole experience was a total disgrace.
Satisfied, Santiago let go, and Gwain collapsed onto the floor, rolling in pain.
He looked completely defeated. The physical harm wasn’t severe, but the
shame cut deep.
Hank and Wyatt shouted in shock, “Mr. Gwain!” They never imagined
someone of Gwain’s stature could be brought down in just five moves.

Chapter 1976 An Unexpected Humiliation
Gwain wasn’t lacking in skill–he and Santiago were about evenly matched.
Yet when it came to real–world fighting, Santiago’s experience was on a
whole different level. It was like comparing a seasoned pro to a beginner.
Pointing at Santiago, Hank yelled, “D*mn it! What kind of dirty tricks are
those?! That wasn’t a fair fight!”
Santiago just grinned. “Oh, didn’t like that one? How about this? Titan Smash!”
He leaped into the air, arms outstretched, ready to slam down with his attack.
Before he could land the hit, a woman’s voice rang out from the edge of the
magnolia garden. “Sir, I beg you, show restraint!”
Santiago stopped mid–attack, crashing into a magnolia tree and stumbling
back like a drunk.
Then, Roselynn and the rest turned to see Lady Rosa leading several of
Isabella’s disciples.
Lady Rosa approached Santiago and explained, “Mr. Lannister has ties with

Maestro Moretti. Please, spare him for her sake.”
Santiago chuckled. “Of course, I’ll honor that.”
He had already gauged Gwain’s skill. Gwain was just as talented as
Emmanuel, and his moves were even more polished. Still, it was no contest in
a real fight. Gwain lacked Emmanuel’s resilience–the ability to become more
formidable as the fight continued.
“You alright, Mr. Gwain?” Hank hurried over to assist him.
Shane mocked, “Haha, what do you think? If my Master hadn’t gone easy on
him, Gwain would be limping away without his dignity–or his future kids!”
Roselynn added with a smirk, “A guy who only picks on women and kids
doesn’t deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as my brother. Beat it!”
Gwain clenched his teeth, his eyes burning with rage. What a disgrace! I,
Gwain Lannister, have never been so thoroughly embarrassed! Still, he had
no energy left to argue. With his pride shattered, he turned and walked away.

Lady Rosa smiled sweetly at Santiago. “Sir, my master would like to see you.”
“Alright.” Santiago grinned and followed her without a second thought.
Suddenly, Shane called out, “Wait, weren’t you the one chasing after
Emmanuel, hoping to be his mistress? What made you become Maestro
Moretti’s disciple?”
