Jojo and Coco's Unexpected Love

Chapter 849 Can I Sleep Here Tonight?

Chapter 849 Can I Sleep Here Tonight?

Noah's hand came to a halt as his pupils dilated. He burst into mocking laughter.

Half-asleep, Chloe opened her eyes and saw Noah. She sat up and said, "You're home."

Suddenly, he embraced her, greedily inhaling her fragrance. His grip was rough as if he wanted to fuse her to him.

Chloe’s mind cleared, and the strong smell of alcohol entered her nose. "Have you been drinking?"

"Hush, Coco. Just let me hold you for a while."

She blinked, then said, "You should go to sleep. It's quite late."

"Are you saying I can't hold you?" A warm breath brushed against Chloe's neck, carrying a discomforting chill that made her hair stand on end.

"It's getting late, and you've been drinking. You should get some rest. Did something happen at work? Tell me about it. We can figure it out together. Talking about it will make you feel better."

Chloe did not know how to answer so she evaded it. She wanted to comfort him, but she also did not want to be physically close to him.

"Are you resisting me?" Noah asked, his gaze held no emotion as he saw through her.

"What? Of course not," Chloe replied in a flustered manner, "You're my fiance. Why would I resist you?"

Noah tightened his embrace, and his suppressed desires became even more pronounced. "I don't want to go to my room tonight. Can I sleep here?" He wanted to be Chloe’s husband now. He

wanted to enjoy marital intimacy even before the wedding. By possessing her fully, maybe she would stop thinking of Joseph.

Chloe's body stiffened, and she pushed him away. She asked, "What are you talking about?"

"I want to be with you. Right here, right now," Noah said, holding onto her waist and pressing himself against her.

"No... Noah, don't," Chloe resisted, her eyes filling with panic. Her face was full of confusion like a deer caught in headlights, making her look adorable. Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

She was by no means a conservative person, especially since she had been married before. It was just that she did not want to engage in such acts with Noah from the bottom of her heart. She knew that this was not fair toward Noah, but she could not control her feelings.

Conflicting emotions played on Noah's face and a glint of coldness gleamed in his eyes. He knew her words would hurt him, but his emotions got the best of him, urging him to press further. "Why? We're getting married the day after tomorrow. What's the difference between giving yourself to me now or later?"

"I'm not ready yet... Please give me a little more time."

Noah paused for a moment. His tone suddenly became gentle as he said, "It's been five years, Coco. You should be ready by now. I need you. Just help me out, okay?"

Chloe's lips parted slightly, her ears turning hot as she recalled that Noah had attended numerous social events and could not avoid going to entertainment venues recently. Some men enjoyed seeking out young women to accompany them at clubs, and although Noah's appearance was youthful, it did not mean he was inexperienced. Could he have been exposed to some inappropriate scenes that triggered him?

Lost in her thoughts, Chloe found it difficult to make a decision. Noah was right. The wedding was only two days away, and this happening a little earlier would not make much of a difference. He had been by her side throughout the years, and she knew how considerate he was. Not only that, but he was also the one who brought her back to the Sullivans.

Cupping Chloe's cheeks in his hands, Noah moved his thin lips closer. "Just relax."

She took a deep breath to calm herself and nervously closed her eyes.
