Chapter 797 Going Away Forever (Part Two)
"Well, I see," Violet responded, "I called to thank you for sending me to the hospital that night, even
though I lost my baby. I am still in your debt."
Upon hearing this, Francis was overcome with guilt. He thought he was the one who should apologize
to her and that he didn't deserve her gratitude.
"I should say sorry to you. If I hadn't asked you to dinner that day, you wouldn't have suffered all of
this," Francis blurted out. He had been tormented by guilt these days. He thought that he was the
reason for Violet's misery.
"It's not your fault. Even if you were not there, she would have found another chance to hurt me," Violet
responded. After thinking about this all these days, she knew that Cassie was the only one to blame.
"Violet," Francis stammered, not knowing what to say.
"Thank you for what you have done for me," Violet said. NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
Francis felt that something was wrong definitely. 'It's getting late. Why would Violet call me at this
hour?' he wondered.
"What's up, Violet? Did anything happen to you?" Francis asked frowning.
'Should I tell him that I am leaving tomorrow?' she hesitated inside.
As Violet didn't reply for a long time, Francis knew that something must have happened to her. He
urged, "Tell me, what is it?"
After thinking for a moment, Violet said with earnestness, "Promise me that you won't tell anyone."
"Okay, you have my word. I won't let anyone know," Francis promised seriously.
"I'm going from here tomorrow," Violet began.
"You're going? Where are you going? You're leaving this city?" Francis asked, stupefied in shock. He
couldn't think clearly. 'She is leaving?' he repeated to himself inside.
"Yes, I'm going to live with my parents. I can't stay here anymore," Violet replied calmly.
"I can't believe it. Seriously?" Francis said anxiously. After overcoming his feelings, he asked, "What
time is your flight?"
"I can't tell you that," Violet answered. Afraid that Francis might break his promise, she reminded, "You
promised me that you won't tell anyone. If you do not keep your promise, you will not be my friend
anymore."
"Violet, I swear that I won't tell anyone. But tell me what is your flight time, will you?" Francis continued,
requesting for an answer. He thought it was his fault too that Violet lost her baby. To make amends, he
was thinking of leaving with her and spending his entire life staying by her side. He hated to see her
suffer all the pain alone.
"I won't tell you, Francis," Violet replied excitedly. "That's it. I have to go now. Goodbye!"
Violet hung up the phone hurriedly. If they continued to talk, she was afraid that she might disclose her
flight information to Francis.
The next day at 4:00 am, Violet and Selina left home for the airport.
Elsa and Jacob stood at the gate, looking at Violet. At just the thought of her granddaughter's leaving
them, Elsa couldn't help but cry.
"Grandma, I will be back again. At that time, I will visit you with both Dad and Mom," Violet cried. She
couldn't bear to leave this place and her family who she loved so much. After all, they were so close to
her and treated her very well.
"Okay. be safe on the way. Take care of yourself," Elsa urged, as she tried to smile through tears.
"Don't Worry, Grandma," Violet replied assuring her.
"Look after yourself, Violet," Jacob pitched in.
"I will miss you too, Grandpa," Violet responded.
Wilson walked towards Violet after he had put her luggage in the trunk. He hugged his loving niece
while saying, "I will call your Dad and tell him to pick you up himself from the airport."
"Thank you, Uncle," Violet replied back.
"You don't have to be so formal with me. When you come back again, I hope to see a different Violet.
I'm sure you will be a better girl when we see you again," Wilson encouraged her with a warm smile.
He hoped his positivity would make Violet cheer up.
"Okay, Uncle. I will try my best," Violet responded.
Standing next to her car, Selina said to Violet, "Well, get in. Or you will miss your flight."
Violet looked towards Elsa, Jacob, and Wilson. "Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle, Bye for now!" she said.
"Bye!" the rest answered together.
Watching the car drive away, all of them felt sad.
In the airport lobby, Selina's eyes were already brimming with tears. She looked at the security
checkpoint and then towards Violet.
With her ID card and boarding pass in her hands, Violet hugged Selina. "Auntie, I have to leave you for
a while. Wait for me. I will be back soon," she sobbed, tears pouring down her cheeks.
"Ummm. Don't forget to call me frequently. I will miss you," Selina said.
"Okay, Auntie, I will. I will give you a video call whenever you are free. That way, I will be able to see
your face," Violet replied before letting Selina go. She took a quick look at her watch and found it was
almost time for boarding.
"Well, go to the security checkpoint, or you will really miss your flight," Selina said.
"Goodbye, Auntie!" Violet returned, as she waved her hand, turned around and headed for the security
checkpoint.
Selina stood still, watching Violet enter the barrier. Then she turned around and left the airport.
