Chapter 752 Arrived At The Right Moment (Part Two)

"I am so sorry, Miss! I can only follow the orders of my boss and Mr. Greg. As for others' order, I may or

may not obey," responded the assistant righteously. She was not afraid at all because she knew that if

she did not obey her boss's order then something wrong would happen. Since she knew her boss was

supporting her, she had nothing to be afraid.

Cassie controlled her anger and supported Greg while she made him lie down on the sofa. When she

saw that Greg had fallen asleep, Cassie rose up and walked towards the assistant.

Standing in front of her, in a fierce tone, Cassie said,"Though this room was reserved by your boss for

Greg, now we have checked in and we do not need any more service at the moment. Please don't

interrupt us and just leave, okay?"

She emphasized?the?last three words, all the while staring at the assistant.

The assistant gave her a soft smile and in a relaxed manner, said,"Miss, I think I have told you before

that I will only follow my boss' order. And in this room, I will only follow Mr. Greg's order since he is our Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

VIP guest. As for you, I am sorry I don't know you and I have never seen you before, so I cannot

entertain your orders."

"How dare you?" Cassie tried to control?her?anger, but she knew she could not do anything to this

assistant.

Both of them stared at each other, their tempers flaring.

Just at that moment, the doorbell rang and the assistant heaved a sigh of relief. She immediately

turned back and rushed to open the door.

When she opened the door, she found that it was not Tim, but a waiter who was carrying a bowl of

sober-up tea for Greg.

She soon realized that the lobby manager was here to help her handle the situation tactfully.

"Is this the sober-up tea for Mr. Greg?" The assistant pretended to raise her voice while asking the

waiter.

"Yes," he replied promptly.

"Okay, come on in!" She asked the waiter to bring the sober-up tea inside.

Seeing the scene, Cassie was surprised and confused, not knowing what was actually happening in

the room. All her plans seemed to have gone for a toss.

"What... what are you doing here?" It was difficult for Cassie to keep her anger in control now.

"Hello, Miss. We saw that Mr. Greg was drunk and had nearly passed out, so we brought him the

sober-up tea," replied the waiter respectfully.

"There is no need! You all go out! He will be sober after taking a shower and he doesn't need the

sober-up tea," Cassie immediately declined. She now was a little anxious because Greg would be

sober if they were still delaying the time. Until then, he would certainly ask her to leave and she would

have no chance to be so close with Greg. Thus, she wouldn't achieve her goal! Her original plan had

already been disrupted by checking in the presidential suite without using her own ID card and if her

plan was changed again, she had no idea what the consequences would be.

"Miss, may I ask who you are? Are you related to Mr. Greg? Why should we trust your words?

Moreover, Mr. Greg is unconscious now. What if something happens, I won't be able to explain all this

to my boss." Whatever she said did make sense and now it was Cassie's turn to be left at a loss of

words.

"You...How impudent you are! You are just a menial assistant, how dare you talk to me like that?"

Cassie lost her temper and she walked towards the assistant and was about to give her a slap on the

cheek. However, there was someone at the door and Cassie stopped in midway.

"Hands off!" Tim shouted at the door, fiercely staring at Cassie.

Hearing Tim's voice, both the assistant and waiter turned their heads to look at him as they respectfully

greeted him,"Boss!"

Tim just gave them a slight nod in acknowledgment and then walked into the room step by step. When

he walked beside Cassie, he gave her a contemptuous look and sneered at her. 'This is the woman

who Alice was talking about and she even hugged Greg at the party. How shameless she is!' Tim

thought.

When he took a closer look at her, he found that she was indeed delicate and coquettish. He had seen

innumerable beautiful girls but she seemed different. She looked like a thorny rose, glamorous but

difficult to handle.

"What do you think you were doing by slapping my employee like that?" Tim asked, in a cold voice.

Cassie was not afraid of him, she just tried to size up the young man standing in front of her. He had a

handsome face too just as charming as Greg. But he did not seem as gentle and mature as Greg, but

rash and disrespectful.

"No, I just asked her to go away and not disturb Greg and me. You know Greg needs rest, but she

would not listen to me," Cassie explained. She could understand that this man must be Tim, the owner

of the hotel. She was not stupid that she would offend a renowned person like him.

"And, why should she follow your order?" questioned Tim, his sharp eyes staring at Cassie. "And, you

and Greg want to take rest? I do not understand the meaning of that."

Cassie knew that Tim must have known everything about Greg since they were close friends and like

brothers, so it was better if she did not hide anything from him.

"Greg quarreled with Violet and he didn't want to go home tonight. So I accompanied him to the hotel

so that I could take care of him, any problem with that?" There was no fear in Cassie's voice. After all,

she had experienced a lot of stuff like this when she was abroad and she was confident that she could

come out of this mess too.

"I don't think so," Tim said with a resolute?expression. In a firm tone, he told Cassie,"Greg is my buddy.

Even if he quarreled with his wife and wanted to stay in my hotel, I should be the person who

accompanies and comforts him, not someone else, like you!"

"Haha, very funny!" An?unnatural?smile?crossed Cassie's?face as she continued to stare at Tim. She

raised her eyebrow and provoked,"I am not someone else. I was a part of Greg's life for five years

when we both were abroad. If I hadn't let him return, the person he would be married to would be me,

not Violet."

"Oh, really? This is not what I came to know from Greg," Tim blurted out. "Greg has always told me that

Violet was the only woman he has ever loved and he fulfilled what he said by marrying her. I have

never heard him speak of any other woman except Violet."

Tim's words choked Cassie. She didn't know what to say because, in her heart, she knew very clearly

that this was a one -sided love as Greg had never accepted her as a part of his life. Only she wanted to

marry him at any cost the reverse was not true.

"Anyhow, please go away with your staff. You can leave the sober-up tea here and then go away from

the room right now!" Incoherent, Cassie didn't know what to say and do, so that they all left her and

Greg alone.
