EZEKIEL BUENAVISTA
Their parents went straight to the lanai to discuss the upcoming merger of O’ Harra and Buenavista right after dinner.
Why am I nervous with him? Oh, gosh! I need to see a doctor. My heartbeat is no longer normal.
As Ezekiel, she walked toward the swimming pool area. Because of her nervousness and the sheer speed of her heartbeat, she chose to walk quickly to the pool edge.
She stopped and quickly turned to Ezekiel. For he suddenly sneezed loudly behind her. That’s how her mouth opened when she saw that he held out his palm and smiled that you thought he would apply to be a toothpaste model.
She was taken aback and looked at his palm; his grin widened, and another stepped forward for her.
“I’m Ezekiel Buenavista. Twenty-four years old. Eldest son of Calvin and Lorraine Buenavista.”
She cleared her throat. “Oh, I mean, I’m Summer, short for Samarra Miel O ‘Harra. The only daughter of Business tycoon Frost O’ Harra and famous international model Samantha Hernandez. Single, fifteen-year-old. Senior high school student. Never been touched, never been kissed, and I’m a member of NBSB,” she introduced herself and laughed loudly to hide her awkward feeling.
“Miel, you’re prettier when you laugh,” he said as he sat on the extended bench, taking off his coat and laying it on the chair, motioning down to her.
“I know,” she said.
She was taking a seat next to the young man. She rested her hand on her chest. When their gazes met, she felt her heartbeat speed up. She believes her heart is sick, as her heartbeat is not returning to normal.
“Damn, why is this man so handsome, so hot, My God! Greek Apollo is here?”
“Are you okay, Miel?” he asked, noticing her surprise.
“Ye-yeah, I’m O-okay!” she stuttered back, nodding and forcing a smile.
“Are you aware that your parents have already arranged your marriage at your age?”
She took a deep breath. “Yes,” she answered almost in a whisper.
His expression was solemn, as if he didn’t like what he had heard. Samarra averted her gaze as he abruptly rose from his seat and walked to the pool’s edge.
“So, what do you have to say about arranged marriage?” Ezekiel asked, not looking back.
“It’s not a bad idea to arrange marriage, as long as you’re willing to learn to love your partner,” she quickly replied, looking behind Ezekiel. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
She also got up from her seat and walked over to Ezekiel so that they could talk properly. She swallowed to clear her throat and stabilize her voice.
“Why? Don’t you want to marry me, Kiel?” she asked the young man thoughtfully.
Because if this is her fiancé, she should be aware. Whether it wants or not, they will postpone the wedding so they can talk to their parents sooner.
Ezekiel turned to her slowly. “Don’t give me that look, baby,” he said.
“Huh?” she asked like a fool.
She couldn’t understand what he said because her heart was racing faster and more robust than usual.
On his lips was a bitter smile. “Your parents arranged your marriage to my youngest brother, Zachary Cadden, the same age as you. If I had to choose, I might agree if it’s you. In case you’re too young for me. And one more? I’ve already arranged with someone else, Grandpa’s friend’s granddaughter. If both men had the first child, it must be Dad, so the agreement with the grandson continued. And please, don’t fall for me because I won’t catch you,” Ezekiel mockingly. Luh! He is aware that I like him.
“And your parents reconciled you with Zach, baby!” he continued.
“Hmph! Why do I think you like me? Sorry, you’re my future brother-in-law,” she teased Ezekiel.
To hide her embarrassment at what he had said. He is too arrogant and direct to speak. Hopefully, it isn’t like his younger brother because it’s just now if they are. She required a great deal of patience.
He grinned. “Babaysot, too much confidence, huh!”
“Babaysot?” she repeated.
“Babaysot, short for the female stunt,” he said, squeezed her cheek, and laughed.
She was blown away by what he said.
“Damn, he’s insane; he should call me babaysot; excuse me, 5’5 is my height.”
She smirked and shifted her gaze away. And she was about to leave when Ezekiel grabbed her arm.
“Stay!” his baritone voice.
“Don’t touch me. I hate you! I’m not a stunt!” She drew her arms back and took a step away from Ezekiel.
She had just sighed when she was pulled forward from behind her, and still unsatisfied, he hugged her tightly.
“W-what a-are you were doing?” she stuttered the question.
“You’re stammering, little witch,” he whispered.
She did not know what was happening, as if time had stopped for a moment, and she could see only Ezekiel. She smelled his fragrant breath, a mixture of mint and alcohol.
Suddenly her heart started beating fast at that moment.
Before being carried away by what was happening, she raised her hands to his hard chest to push him away.
But he wrapped his arm around her tiny waist and whispered in her ear. “Let me hug you and stay for a while, little witch.”
She could not speak or move. She let her hug Ezekiel and stay awhile.
“Thank you,” she heard his whisper.
The days flew by, and Samarra had no idea that she had fallen in love with Ezekiel in such a short period. Even though they were constantly teasing and arguing, he seemed to be guarding her. Samarra is occasionally jealous of the women who are interested in Ezekiel.
Samarra is on the Sydney Dragway today, sitting to one side, resting while waiting for the young man. She frowned as she gazed at Ezekiel.
Ezekiel is speaking with an unfamiliar Australian woman who sees the soul in the class of clothing. They want to catch Ezekiel’s attention.
She just sighed and watched the woman caress Kiel’s arm; her head would hurt.
Samarra believes that if Ezekiel is the one for her, she will be easier to love and get along with. She thinks they are more likely to argue about the number of women like Ezekiel.
“What are you thinking?”
She was grabbed by the forehead when she was tapped. “Damn, why does Ezekiel always like that?”
“Ouch! Why did you do that?” she asked as she covered her forehead.
Ezekiel slid his hand into the side of the pockets. “Why are you staring at me?” he asked, examining her entire being.
“Duh! I’m not staring at you?” she denied and rolled her eyes.
“Really, huh?” He smirked once he squeezed her nose. “I know you very well, young lady; you’re lying to me.”
“Really? I know that smirk, too?” simultaneously, she raised an eyebrow at Kiel.
“Too confident, Kiel,” she slapped his arm and laughed, hoping he wouldn’t notice she was lying.
Is she so apparent that she is looking at Kiel?
He grinned. “I’m not convinced, little witch,” he said and hugged her simultaneously.
“Hey, don’t call me like that,” she muttered.
“It’s my unique endearment, my sister-in-law.” Ezekiel put out his right hand and bent down a little to make them look straight. The toothpaste model smiled again, and Ezekiel licked the lower lip.
Her mouth fell open at what Ezekiel had done. Gosh!
She shook her head. “Whatever, Kiel.” She rolled her eyes.
Ezekiel laughed as they walked out of the Dragway and wrapped his arm around her. Because her partner is a head-turner, all the women in the waiting area are distracted by them. It’s not often that someone approaches here and expresses an interest in the young man. Aside from the moniker, he is pretty attractive.
