Chapter 245: Let's Start Over, Shall we?

Seeing her standing at the door and looking down at her shoes, Zane smiles and called her. "Yanis."

After hearing Zane's voice, Yanis responded. She raised her eyes to look at him. "What...?"

Not until she finished talking, Zane kissed her.

In the afternoon, she clearly said that there was no relationship between the two of them.

But Yanis didn't resist Zane's kiss.

They kissed for a long time.

Yanis was a little unsteady, and almost her whole body was in Zane's arms.

"Did you worry about me?" Zane gently rubbed the corner of Yanis's lips with his thumb, and his voice

was gentle.

Perhaps it was because she hadn't made out with anyone for a long time, Yanis was a little dizzy from Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.

the kiss. She raised her head and looked at him. "I'm afraid that in the future, I won't be able to see you

again."

When she was hurt, Yanis felt that she didn't want to have anything to do with Zane in this life.

But when she saw the plane crash, she suddenly felt that all the previous problems didn't matter.

Because the instigator was not Zane.

It was Neve.

Therefore, even if she really wanted to hate someone, then Neve was the one she should hate, not

Zane.

"Yanis, give me a chance, let's start over, shall we?"

Maybe it's because of the kiss that made her heart beat just now, or maybe she forgave Zane naturally.

When Zane asked this question, Yanis nodded.

Seeing Yanis nod her head, Zane kissed her again. This time, it was an even hotter kiss.

"Have you had dinner?" Yanis looked at Zane and asked.

Zane shook his head, then stood up. "You didn't eat?"

"I'm not hungry after eating in the afternoon. I will cook some noodles for you, ok?"

Zane walked up to Yanis. "Go to rest, I'll cook by myself."

After Zane finished speaking, he went straight into the kitchen.

Yanis watched Zane enter the kitchen, stepped forward, and leaned against the kitchen door, watching

Zane prepare the ingredients.

"Is grandma all good?" Yanis suddenly thought of the old Mrs. Lawrence and asked.

Zane was busy cooking while responding. "Fracture. Anika and my dad are watching her in the

hospital."

"Is Anika... All right?"

When Zane heard Yanis's words, he turned to look at her. "She didn't intend to sue Antonio."

Yanis couldn't help frowning. "Neither do you?"

"Anika said she didn't want to embarrass you."

When Yanis heard Zane's words, she didn't know what to say for a while.

Although Antonio didn't do the kind of thing on his own initiative, he still hurt Anika after all.

She didn't expect Anika would let Antonio go because of her.

In fact, it was Zane who shocked Yanis more than Anika.

According to how much he cared about Anika, Antonio would have to pay some price for what he did.

But she didn't expect that Zane didn't do anything to him either.

When Zane had just cooked the noodles, the landlord came to deliver the dessert made by her

daughter-in-law.

After chatting with Yanis for a bit, she left.

"You... Do you stay here tonight?"

Yanis watched Zane finish his noodles and asked him when he was cleaning up.

Zane looked at her cautiously. "Is it okay?"

Yanis hesitated for a few seconds. "It's up to you."

"Then I'll ask Albi to bring me clothes."

While Zane was calling Albi, Yanis turned around and went into the study. She finished the last part of

the paint and then packed it up.

She sent a message to the old Mr. Duncan and told him that she would send the painting out tomorrow

morning.

Because the client got delayed, so they postponed the schedule of moving houses until after

Christmas.

If she sent it back to Manches City now, it would be exactly on time.

Looking at the finished painting on the table, Yanis was very satisfied.

Although she often stayed up late during this period, Yanis was extremely satisfied when she saw the

results.

She picked up the phone to take a photo and save it in the album, then she turned and walked out of

the study.

When Yanis went out, Zane had already fallen asleep on the sofa in the living room.

Seeing this scene, Yanis couldn't help but lighten her steps.

She wanted to wake him up, but when she walked closer and saw the man's slightly tired face, she

changed her mind.

She turned around, went into the bedroom, took a blanket out of the cabinet, and covered Zane.

It may be because she always stayed up painting during this period, so even at this time Yanis still

didn't feel sleepy at all.

After covering Zane with a blanket, Yanis sat down on the single sofa.

When she looked up, she could see him sleeping soundly on the sofa.

Yanis couldn't help looking at him.

She had to say that Zane was really eye-catching.

Even the appearance of sleeping was pleasing to the eye.

Just when Yanis was distracted, the doorbell rang.

Yanis withdrew her thoughts, first glanced at Zane, and then got up to open the door.

Before she could lift her feet, the sleeping man suddenly got up and said with a hoarse voice, "Yanis."

Hearing the sound, Yanis turned to look over. "Didn't you fall asleep?"

"Sit down, I'll open the door." After speaking, Zane walked towards the door.

Yanis was a little startled, looking at Zane's back. He was obviously sleeping just now and he suddenly

woke up.

Although they seldom shared the same bed, she did not notice that Zane's sleep was so light when

they slept together occasionally.

He got up suddenly just now as if he was getting frightened by something.

The voice from the door was a little familiar.

Albi must have brought the clothes over.

Yanis went to get a cup of warm water. When she came out of the kitchen, Zane just came in with a

bag, "Don't open the door to anyone at night."

Yanis hummed and handed the water in her hand to Zane. "Do you want some water?"

Zane looked at the water that Yanis handed to him, and his eyes turned bright instantly. "Is this for

me?"

"If you don't drink it, I'll drink it." She heard his voice a little hoarse just now, so she went to pour the hot

water.

After Yanis spoke, Zane quickly reached out to take it. While drinking the water, he turned around and

put the bag in his hand on the sofa.

Zane put the water glass on the table, then turned to look at Yanis. "It's so late, why don't you go to

rest?"

Yanis sat down on the sofa. "I have been busy painting for the past two days. I mainly paint at night and

sleep during the daytime. So, I'm not sleepy yet. "

Zane looked at her. "But you need to rest now."

"Well, I know." Yanis looked up at him. "Go take a shower. You sleep on the bed at night, and I sleep on

the sofa."

"No, I'll just sleep on the sofa." As soon as Yanis finished speaking, Zane refused.

Yanis looked up at him. "It's up to you."
