Chapter 10: In His Room
Chapter 10: In His Room
What on earth is in this liquor? It's affecting me quite strongly, despite my high alcohol tolerance. I began contemplating whether there's a difference between the beer consumed by the poor and the beer enjoyed by the wealthy. Does that even make sense? Argh, my thoughts are all jumbled up. "Sir, is there a distinction between the beer of the poor and the beer of the rich?" I asked, my mind clouded. Am I already drunk? What on earth? "Tell me more about yourself, Lyka... I want to get to know you better," he replied, disregarding my question. His words caught me off guard. Why would he want to know more about me? Ah, perhaps he's just grasping for a topic of conversation. Drinking can be bitter without any meaningful conversation. We were seated on a double couch beside his bed, with the bottle of beer resting on a small glass table. "Hmm, what am I? Who am I? I don't think I really know myself, Sir," I confessed, punctuating my words with a loud, intoxicated laugh. I suppose I'm now a tipsy woman, haha! He stared at me without much reaction. So, my joke wasn't funny?! Suddenly, nervousness washed over me, and I stammered, "Um... My full name is Lyka Montefranca. I ended up here in your mansion because your mother selected me from our agency... And, um, I have two younger siblings. We're a small family. It's just my mother and me who work because my father is bedridden... and... what else should I say?" "... I didn't finish school... I only completed up to Grade 8 due to life's difficulties. I also struggle with reading and comprehension... HAHAHA! I suppose I'm an uneducated person, quite foolish, right?" I explained to him, avoiding his gaze as I glanced around the room. When I turned back to him, I was taken aback to find him staring at me... not directly at me, but at my lips. I swallowed nervously. His face inched closer to mine. Perhaps because I was intoxicated, I had the audacity to close my eyes and brace myself. As expected, his lips met mine. He possessed soft, pinkish lips that were quite kissable. He kissed me slowly, unlike before. His movements were gentle, as though handling something fragile. I leaned back on the couch, wrapping my arms around his neck. For the first time, I willinglyProperty belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.
reciprocated his kiss. We kissed on the couch as if there were no tomorrow. He then lifted me up and carried me to his own bed. Slowly, he laid me down, but my head was spinning from the drinks, and I was overwhelmed by a mix of emotions. What was I feeling? I felt intoxicated! He immediately came close again and kissed me on the lips. I willingly reciprocated, curling up and pressing myself against him. I couldn't understand myself at that moment—I willingly surrendered to our desires. His kisses trailed down to my neck, and all I could do was moan, swept away by the sensations he was arousing. I knew there would be marks left from what had happened, but I paid no attention to them. "K-Kiro..." His kisses descended further, until he looked at me with longing eyes, silently requesting if I would remove my clothes. I promptly complied and did as he asked. He began kissing my chest, and in that moment, memories flooded my mind—memories of his unwanted advances when I first entered his room. I was stunned, and suddenly I felt sober. Sir Kiro must have sensed my shock because he stopped and looked at me. I was certain that the shock in my eyes was evident. He saw it and immediately stood up. I heard him take a deep breath as I remained lying there, speechless. What had we done? What had I done? He sat back on the bed, picked up my shirt, and helped me put it back on. I stayed silent as he dressed me. "I-I'm sorry, Lyka," he murmured. Reluctantly, I nodded and quickly got up from the bed. I hurriedly grabbed the food tray and left his room, unable to look at him. What the heck? Had I let my emotions carry me away? When I stepped out of his room, I adjusted my clothes and hair to ensure that Madam and Miss Linda wouldn't notice anything amiss. How many hours had I spent in Sir's room? I reached into the pocket of my maid's uniform and retrieved my cellphone. It was already ten o'clock in the evening. What excuse could I give to Miss Linda for being downstairs so late? Damn! I completely forgot about the beer bottles! What if that stubborn man decided to drink alone
again?! "Oh, Lyka! Did you spend a long time in Sir's room?" Miss Linda asked as she washed the dishes. I immediately blushed when I remembered the foolish thing I had done in Sir Kiro's room! "And why are you blushing?" she added, her observant eyes catching every detail. "Um, Miss, I stayed long in Sir Kiro's room because I scolded him for drinking alcohol there. You know it's not allowed for him, right?" "And... I'm blushing because I accidentally drank some of the beer... just a small amount, though," I explained. "What? Kiro drinks alcohol and liquor?!" she exclaimed. I understood her frustration with Kiro, the stubborn man. Argh! "Yes, that’s why I scolded him," I shared with her. "... Hmm, you blush easily because you have such fair, beautiful skin, Lyka," she added, complimenting me. I smiled at her kind words. After placing the tray in the sink, I headed straight to the maid's quarters. I closed the bedroom door and placed a hand over my chest. I could still feel my heart pounding from earlier in Sir's room. I was certain it wasn't just nerves or apprehension. As I remembered how close I had come to giving in to him, I swallowed hard and lightly tapped my own head. How foolish of you, Lyka! "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Look at her, Joday. Has she gone mad and started hitting her head?" I heard Doday's voice. "Don't mind her, Doday. She's a crazy girl," Joday's voice filled with disgust. It was only then that I realized Joday and Doday were in the room. They must have just returned from the bar, as they were still wiping off lipstick from their faces. I stood frozen as they witnessed my awkward self-inflicted taps. "Oh! You two are already here... I suppose you had fun at the bar?" I asked, trying to divert their attention. "Yes, we had a blast. You know, we're the beauties and we need some beasts. Rawr!" Doday answered, about to enter the bathroom. However, she paused and approached me, giving me a
critical look. Then her gaze shifted to my neck. I was taken aback by her question. "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Is that a hickey, Lyka?"
