Chapter 374
Chapter 374
Willow’s figure was wholly different from Wilhelmina’s.
Wilhelmina’s build was petite and slender, but her waist did not dip where it should and she had no curves to speak of.
From the side, she looked like a washboard.
Willow, on the other hand, had doll–like proportions that would have done the red gown justice. The gown would have hugged her curves in all the right places, and her slender waist wouldn’t have ripped the seams.
More importantly, Willow would not look as ridiculous as Wilhelmina.
Matthew narrowed his eyes as he stared at Wilhelmina as her silhouette gradually took on Willow’s likeness and shape.
“Matt, say something! Do I look good in this gown or not?” Wilhelmina prompted again when Matthew did not answer her.
Wilhelmina looked up and met Matthew’s intense gaze. That was all the answer she needed from him. If the scorching look in his eyes were any indication, she must look splendid in the gown.
In all the years she had been together with Matthew, this was the first time he had regarded her with such a ravenous gaze.
Wilhelmina praised herself for making the right call in stealing Willow’s gown this time. She made up her mind to put more effort into snatching Willow’s wardrobe in the future. “Matt, stop looking at me like that,” Wilhelmina said, feigning girlish embarrassment as she averted her gaze. “You’re making me blush!”
She was just about to say something else when Matthew closed the distance between them and pulled her into his arms. The next second, she felt the hard slant of his lips press against hers.
He kissed her deeply with the passion of a burning wildfire, unbridled and endless.
“Matt…” Wilhelmina whispered against his lips, melting into the kiss as her eyes fluttered close.
She was about to wrap her arms around his neck and dangle her relationship in front of Willow when Matthew suddenly said in a firm, domineering voice, “You’re mine, Willow!” All color drained from Wilhelmina’s face as she stared at Matthew in disbelief.
The last thing Wilhelmina expected from Matthew was for him to call out Willow’s name while kissing her, much less imagine her as Willow in front of everyone.
How would she recover from this humiliation?
Zayn snorted at this as he eyed Matthew coldly, wondering if the latter had truly been so bold as to picture Willow’s face while kissing another woman.
Matthew snapped back to his senses when he heard Zayn’s snicker. When he realized that the woman in his arms was not Willow, he instinctively shoved her away. Wilhelmina staggered and crashed to the ground.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
“Ow! Matt, that hurt!” Wilhelmina whined as she looked up at Matthew resentfully, her eyes growing misty. “Are you unwell, Matthew? Why are you treating me like this?”
