His Eagle Eyes on Me

Shelly was worried that Hayden might not know how to feed Audrey and went to sit down next to him to help.

"You can keep holding Audrey, and I will feed her." Shelly tucked tissue around Audrey's neck, and Hayden held onto Audrey tightly. Audrey had her eyes on the bowl Shelly was holding and licked her lips at the appetizing scent of food.

"Are you hungry, my darling?" Shelly noticed the eager look on Audrey's face and chuckled. "Don't worry. Mommy will feed you now."

Hayden turned his attention to Shelly at the sound of her gentle voice.

The two were sitting mere inches away from each other at the moment.

Hayden did not particularly enjoy having women too close to him, but he did not feel repulsed when Shelly was in such close proximity. "Hayden, could you pass me a tissue?" Shelly noticed a bit of soup on Audrey's mouth.

Hayden immediately pulled out a tissue paper.

As Hayden handed the tissue to Shelly, he noticed the soup at the corner of Audrey's mouth and went to wipe it himself.

Unexpectedly, Shelly grabbed his hand.

The two immediately locked eyes, and Shelly quickly withdrew her hand.

"You should wipe her mouth." Shelly's face turned red.

Hayden's heart raced as well. The feeling coursing through his veins was distinctive, and it was the first time he had ever experienced something like this.

He cleaned Audrey's mouth and saw that the baby food in her bowl was already finished.

"Our daughter has a good appetite. She might not be full yet," Hayden said as he took a piece of fruit from the fruit plate to feed Audrey.

"Let her take a break before eating again! Overeating can lead to indigestion and make her prone to illness." Shelly walked back to her seat and sat down. "Should I give her some water instead?" Hayden asked.

"Sure." Shelly handed her daughter's thermos water bottle to Hayden.

After about another half an hour, the main course was served.

A waiter brought a baby chair over and asked if they needed it.

"Let's give it a try! If she doesn't want to sit in the chair, I'll hold her," Hayden replied.

"She sits in a dining chair at home too." Shelly stood up and took Audrey from Hayden's arms.

Hayden had been holding Audrey for a long time today, and, as a result, Audrey had his scent and the scent of milk on her.

After placing Audrey in the baby chair, Shelly gave her a new toy to play with.

Audrey, full and with a new toy, was extremely happy sitting in the dining chair by herself.

"You see? She's very happy playing by herself, Shelly said, then picked up her spoon. "Let's eat, too! It'll probably be close to six o'clock by the time we finish. I wonder if my mother has finished packing."

"Why don't we pack dinner for your mother to take home?" Hayden suggested.

"This restaurant is too slow in

serving the

eals, and the portions are small. We'll just find a fast food place nearby later and get something for my mother." Shelly kept an eye on the time, noticing that the main course took over an hour to arrive.

"I'll have someone deliver dinner to your mother," Hayden said, taking out his phone and making the arrangements.

"Your mother is busy packing, so

have to worry about a thing." Hayden knew that she was trying to avoid
