"It's tiring to take care of the baby at night. We aren't young anymore, so if we stay up all night, we are going to be useless during the day." Avery knew that Elliot was far too excited to be a grandfather that he forgot how exhausting it could be waking up at night to care for the baby. "Let's hire a babysitter instead! Elliot nodded. "Sure. We can try sleeping with the baby tonight, though."

An hour later, Hayden returned home and found his family sitting in the living room with joy written all over their faces.

They surrounded the baby, showering him with attention while Hayden changed into his slippers.

"Hayden, you are back!" Layla hurried over. "Where did you go? You said you were coming home right away, and you've been gone for hours!"
