Jasmine woke up from her sleep, after some hours of tossing and turning. She hadn’t had a peaceful sleep, as she kept dreaming of Noah chasing after her.

And now that she was awake, it didn’t seem like she was going to be able to go back to sleep, so she just lay there staring up at the ceiling, not moving.

She would have loved to be in the company of her mates, but she didn’t want to act desperate, and she was sure they needed time to open up to her again.

A few moments later, she heard a sound coming from somewhere in her room, and she quickly turned to it.

She leaned up on one elbow, rubbing her eye with the other.

She looked around her room which was dark except for the moon ray flickering through, wondering what had made that noise.

Jasmine screamed, scrambling around on her bed, before stretching out and looking for the light switch by her bedside, but because she was panicking, she couldn’t find it.

Jasmine burst out laughing. She couldn’t believe the situation she was in at the moment.

“Do we look like we’re joking?” Ethan asked, and the three brothers stared at her, their faces void of any emotions.

Jasmine stopped laughing and cleared her throat.

“Well, I politely reject your request,” she said and the brothers all looked stunned.

“What? Why are you rejecting our offer? We’re mates now, and there won’t be anything wrong with us staying together,” Calix said, confused.

“Well yes, but no. We’re not married, we’re not even mated.

So why should I move into your room?” She asked, laughing a little.

“Oh, I see what’s going on here,” Calix laughed

“What is?” Jasmine asked, raising one eyebrow.

“You’re worried about losing control around us,” he said, with newfound realization.

“What the hell are you talking about?” Jasmine looked at him incredulously. “Losing control over what?”

“You know you can’t control yourself around us. We’re just too irresistible” he said with a boyish grin.

Jasmine burst out laughing for the second time that night.

For a moment, she had forgotten that they weren’t alone in the house.
