We pack up and decide to head home. Any other updates we can get sent to us? I want to be home early, just in case the plan is to attack in the morning. Getting to the car our phones go off, and I don’t bother looking.
“One car now!” I shout and jump in, D and Marc quickly following. I begin rushing home.
“Troy sent the SOS,” Marc explains, and I see D checking CCTV.
“He’s dead.” His words are quiet.
“Daisy? What about Daisy?” I scream looking between them.
“Not there, so I’m guessing she got out,” D explains, and I begin to head back. Maybe we shouldn’t have left today either?
“Westlund Road. I don’t know if she is still there but a video shows her shooting someone then running into traffic.” I nod turning the corner, the closer I get the more cars there are. I can’t get through.
“Forget that, Eastmore Street.” D looks at me, turning the car I begin. driving there.
“She’s going to the offices. The path leads to the offices.” Marc looks at

“Good girl, I will head there.” I will get her. A moment passes
silence.
in
“Shit.” Turning I look at Marc. “She was on Plathorn road, someone hit

her with a gun and dragged her into a car.”
“Direction? Which direction?” If I know that much I can try to find her.
“South, going towards the highway.
“They are leaving the city.” I begin speeding more, they can’t take her out of the city but we’re still ten minutes away. I try and hold in the panic.
“Cal stop.” I ignore D and keep going. “Cal! This was twenty minutes ago, she’s
gone.” He turns the phone to me, and stopping in the middle of the road I take it. My eyes watch as a car flips. I shake my head, she will be fine. I wait, and two minutes later I see her battered body climbing out of the car. I watch her trying to run before collapsing. She’s hurt and badly. I can’t take my eyes off it, watching as she continues fighting against them even as they surround her.
He’s right, it was twenty minutes ago. They are past the border. They are gone. Screaming I punch the steering wheel. Starting the car I drive back to where it began. None of us speaking, one of these men will be alive, they might be hurt but they will be alive and know where they took her. Stopping in the street I look around me.
“Grab anyone who is still alive. Check the bodies for signs, and bring all phones and shit back. We’re finding her before tomorrow.” I don’t care what it takes. Walking through the crowds of people
I hear them. talking, ignoring them and not wanting to listen I walk to the body, flipping it over I look through his pockets.
Grabbing his things, I search his body, no tattoos, none that mean anything anyway. I see Marc and
D doing the same, I find a guy alive, barely but enough to talk.
“Paul, take him back, tie him down. He stays alive.” I grab his items.

and walk through the ginnel. I want to smile seeing how much she fought. The lessons with D clearly helped, maybe we should have given her weapons, ones to keep on her regardless of where we were. I spend ten minutes searching for more bodies and people before heading back to the apartment. I look around me at the guards.
They knew, there was no way they took down all the guards without. knowing everything. This means someone working for us knew, someone was still feeding back information.
“Grant?” I turn and watch as he pulls the bodies of the guards in. “Find. out which guards are missing, get me names.” I will find her. Walking
into D’s room I see and Mare, already at work getting information,
I glance around and start at them.
“Why are they dead?” They should have survived longer.
“D lost it, I tried stopping him and he fucking stabbed me. So you need to get answers before he kills them all.” Marc speaks and I look at D, he is lost, even I can see right he is lost and because Daisy
is gone. is going crazy.
now
“D, move.” I push him back and he growls at me. Ignoring him I sit facing the man. I smile seeing the tattoo on his neck. He isn’t one I brought here.
“Now, I will be nice to start with. Where is she?” I try and hold back the emotions but some break the surface. He laughs spitting blood at Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.
1. me.
“When you find her not even you will want her.” I consider killing him but I know a better way. “Anyone else have that tattoo?” I look to Marc and D. “Anyone else close to where you found him?” I hear a man scream and Marc dragging him to me.
I watch as he ties him down.
“Name?” I look at him, watching as he stutters Cain, and I smile. “Okay, Cain, and his little friend, here’s the deal. Every time your friend refuses to answer Cain, or is rude, or speaks dirty shit, I cut off a part of you. It ends when you die, when he speaks or when you speak.”
Whoever his friend is will keep quiet through losing his own fingers. I‘ m hoping Cain speaks.
“So.” Turning I look back at the guy. “What does the Coppola family want with Daisy? You have their guard mark.” I wait watching as he laughs.
“I’m not speaking.” I nod, admiring his strength, turning I look at Cain, screaming as he tries to break free. Slowly I cut off his finger while his friend tells him to stay quiet or he’s dead. Throwing his own finger at him I turn back to the other guy.
“Where did they take her?”
“To hell!” His words are screamed, I nod and turn back to Cain who is still crying, moving I cut off another finger watching as he passes out.
“Wake him D.” I don’t want him asleep. I turn back to the guy. “You might think you’re safe but you’re not. I’m doing it to him now yes, but after I give you over to the crazy bastard. Now, where is she?” I lean over him, hearing Cain choking and waking.
“I already said, she’s on her way to hell.” Turning I cut another one of Cain’s fingers off. His friend still warns him to stay quiet or else.
