Every Breath You Take

Chapter 1

Chapter 1

"I'm pregnant." The woman said softly, and added softly when Monica was stunned, "It's brother-

inlaw's."

"Nonsense!"

"I'm not talking nonsense. I have been pregnant for three months!" The woman handed her a medical

examination report. Monica's brain buzzed when she saw Quarmy Huo's signature on the report.

At this moment, the world was upside down.

She wasn't hearing what the woman was talking about, she just knew that anger was sweeping through

her body.

"B*tch! You shameless b*tches!" She slapped her. "You are as shameless as your mother. You are both

b*tch!"

"What are you doing?" An angry voice sounded, and her mother-in-law suddenly appeared at the door.

"What am I doing? Because of your son! He has a child with this b*tch behind my back!" Monica

shouted uncontrollably at her mother-in-law. "B*tch! They are all b*tch!"

"How dare you shout at me? Are you scolding me?" Her mother-in-law widened her eyes in disbelief.

Monica did not answer and slapped the woman in front of her twice. The woman leaned back and fell to

the ground.

Looking at the blood oozing from the woman's calves on the ground, her mother- in- law was

dumbfounded.

Her hard work, her grandson! Clap! Clap! She rushed up to Monica with two slaps in her anger. "You

vicious woman, you can't even allow others to have children even when you aren't able to have one?"

Monica felt a buzz in her head, and her face suddenly became indifferent. There was a blackening in

front of her. She could not help but fall back, and she hit the corner angle of the cabinet which was

exceedingly painful.

She struggled to hold the cabinet so that she would not fall down. The door was pushed open and a

cold voice sounded. "What's going on?"

"Quarmy! You came back just in time. Hurry up and take Madrigal to the hospital. This evil woman is

murdering my grandson! Hurry up!"

Quarmy Huo's eyes glanced over indifferently. When he saw the blood under Madrigal Jane's body, his

eyes tightened suddenly. He rushed over and picked up Madrigal Jane on the ground and rushed out

like a gust of wind.

Monica felt desperate. Quarmy Huo didn't even look at her from the moment he entered the door. Her

body which was leaning against the cabinet finally slipped down. When she fell down her hand felt the

sticky liquid. She knew that it was blood!

Monica did not know when it was raining outside the window, the sound of rustling rain woke her out of

the dream. The bedroom was dark and she reached out subconsciously.

Then she laughed at herself slightly. The smile drew on the nerves on her face and both sides of her

face were burning with pain. The pain made her completely awake.

A beam of light illuminated the bedroom window and the sound of the car came. He was finally willing

to come back!

Monica jumped out of bed with bare feet and walked to the window. She opened the curtain and saw a

few cars driving into the villa in the misty rain. Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

A bad feeling occurred but she could not make sure yet.

A man opened the door respectfully with an opening umbrella. Monica saw the familiar figure coming

out of Maybach.

He paused in the yard as if he knew Monica was standing behind the window and looked up at the

window where Monica was standing.

Even through the window, Monica could feel his icy eyes. She cracked a smile and slowly walked out of

the bedroom in her pajamas, with untied hair and bare feet.

The lights in the villa instantly lit up, her slovenly figure with bruises on the face reflected clearly on the

glistening floor. Monica was frightened by her own appearance too.

She moved downstairs. When she made the turn at the corner of the stairs, Quarmy Huo and a man

had already sat down on the sofa in the living room.

A weird smile emerged from the corner of Monica's mouth and she strode towards them. Seeing

Monica walking over with bare feet, Quarmy Huo finally had a slight fluctuation on his expressionless

face. He held the sofa tighter.

Seeing Monica sitting opposite Quarmy Huo, the man beside him took out a document and pushed it

over. "Madam, this is the divorce paper that Mr. Huo asked me to draft, please have a look."

Monica picked up the agreement from the end table and slowly browsed it. The agreement was very

short. Monica's eyes were set on the agreement of property division which said all property was owned

by the man before marriage and was not part of the division.

For some reason, her eyes suddenly hurt a little bit, so she blinked her eyes so that they could be wet

and slightly relieved of pain. Quarmy Huo's lawyer's sounded very cold. "Have you finished reading?

Please sign it after."

The lawyer couldn't wait to hand over a pen to her after saying that, Monica paused and turned to

Quarmy Huo who was sitting on the other side. The man had no facial expression but just looking

ignorantly straight ahead.

Monica took over the pen and signed her crooked name on the last page. The lawyer was relieved after

seeing her signed. There was silence. Monica got up and went upstairs.

Quarmy Huo, who had been staring at the dining room restaurant silently, glanced at her back and then

sent a signal to the lawyer with a slight movement of his lips. Monica then heard the lawyer's words

when she reached the corner of the stairs, "Miss Mo, from tomorrow on, please move out of this villa."

"Okay!" She agreed and slowly turned around the corner of the stairs. The lawyer's voice continued,

"All the properties after you married Mr. Huo belongs to him afterward, including the jewelry he bought

you."

"Okay!" Monica agreed again with no emotions. Her calmness completely shocked the lawyer.

Although she did not own a penny of Huo's property, the jewelry he gave her was enough for her to

spend lifelong. The lawyer did not expect her to give up so readily.

The lawyer turned to Quarmy Huo and saw a hint of anxiety in his eyes. Monica finally came to the

second floor. She reached out and pushed the door and said, "Please tell your client that I won't ask for

any of his belongings. I will not ask a penny from him and move out tomorrow. In order to be fair,

please return my belongings to me as well."

Her voice was clear and decisive, and the door was instantly slammed shut behind her after those

words.

"Mr. Huo... what now?" The lawyer looked at Quarmy Huo, who has remained silent during the whole

time.

Quarmy Huo sat on the sofa with no focus in his eyes. When the lawyer thought he was not going to

respond, he suddenly opened his thin lips and said, "Fine!"
