Chapter 971: Severo, Paula’s wedding 2
At first, the wedding venue was set for The Holy City.
As for the venue, both families visited and it was held at the church in The Holy City with little comment from the parents.
But on the way home, Severo Laris always felt that something was missing in a Western-style wedding in a simple church.
Paula Rouco had no problem with the venue and Severo Laris said nothing.
It wasn’t until, back at Villa Moon Lake Road, Severo Laris was sorting through the invitations when he saw Eleena’s name and had a sudden flash of light.
His love affair with Paula Rouco, which began at Imperial College, was a true college-to-wedding affair, albeit with seven full years of separation in between.
A wedding at the Imperial University would be something to remember.
The nooks and crannies of Imperial University are filled with fond memories of their past.
Severo Laris called Eleena directly.
When the call was answered, Eleena was surprised, “Severo, how windy it is today, do you have time to call me, shouldn’t the groom-to-be be busy with the wedding at this time of the year?”
Severo Laris held his forehead and smiled slightly, “It is true that I have been busy with the wedding, but I would like to ask Mrs. Eleena for a favor.”
“A favor? What kind of help?”
“I want to marry Paula at Imperial University, I don’t know if it’s possible.”
Eleena was struck by the novelty of the idea, and asked, “When exactly is your wedding date?”
“During May Day.”
“During May Day, students will be on vacation and many will go home, the campus empties, I don’t think it’s possible. It’s just that … the matter still needs the dean’s approval, and also some students do not go home during May Day, and it is not easy to really implement this matter. severe, how about this, I will go talk to the dean first to see.”
Severo Laris calmly said, “Ms. Eleena, please tell the Dean that if he agrees, I will personally donate a library. Also, for the students who are not going home on May 1, if it is okay with them, they can come to my wedding with Paula Rouco, and if it is held at the school, the wedding banquet can be changed to a buffet in the courtyard, and the students who attend can eat as much as they want.”
Eleena laughed out loud at his offer, “Severo, the students can eat a lot! Are you sure you want to do this? Aren’t you afraid of being eaten?”
“Ms. Eleena, this matter, please.”
“Imperial University’s library is a bit small and crowded every day, and it needs a fancy burger joint. The students at Imperial will thank you, Severo Laris, and remember you. ”
Severo Laris did not dare to apply for a job, but merely said, “I did it out of selfishness and for a personal matter, thanks are not necessary, Imperial University did me a great favor and in the same way I did the students of Imperial University a favor.”
…
Fifteen minutes later, Eleena’s call came in.
Eleena’s tone was full of joy: “Severo, guess what, I told the director about it and he immediately agreed, saying that if there was anything you wanted or needed, all you had to do was ask.”
Severo Laris exchanged a few polite words with Eleena for a few moments before leaving the studio and heading to the living room.
Paula Rouco is sitting on a lamb’s blanket, sprawled on the edge of a low, solid wood table, squishing colorful play dough.
On the table a pair of little people have been created, a man and a woman, holding hands.
Severo Laris walked over and sat down on the couch, looking at the little man he had squeezed and asked with a smile, “Is that you and me?”
Paula Rouco picked up the clay figurine and fiddled with it in front of her eyes, “Don’t you think so?”
Severo Laris leaned over a little and looked at it more closely, smiling fondly, “Why are you getting so ugly?”
Paula Rouco put on her little face, “It’s not ugly, it’s called pretty.”
“Moe the ugly?”
Paula Rouco: “…”
Well, it looks like he’s ugly and pretty.
Severo Laris got up from the couch and joined her on the lamb’s blanket on the floor next to the low table.
Severo Laris, his long legs curled up, reached out and rubbed her little head, kissed the top of her hair down and asked, “lita, do you want our wedding to be at the Imperial University?”
Paula Rouco’s almond eyes widened, “Are you serious? We can have the wedding at our alma mater?”.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
“Are you happy?”
Severo Laris couldn’t hide the sweet smile on her pretty, delicate face and knew she would love it.
He opened his arms wide.
Paula Rouco pounced on him and gave him a bear hug, “Severo, you’re great!”
She pounced immediately, the momentum was so strong that Severo Laris’ body leaned back slightly and Paula Rouco wrapped her arms all the way around his waist.
Severo Laris’ bones tingle with the name “Severo”.
He wrapped a big arm around her waist and couldn’t help but look at her, “What did you call me?”.
Paula Rouco blushed slightly but justified herself, “Don’t you like it when I call you that?”.
How could Severo Laris not like it? The look in his deep gaze was full of love, “Yes.”
Paula Rouco blew Severo Laris a kiss and said proudly, “I like it too.”
Severo Laris looked at her with a smile on his forehead, before wrapping his arms around the small, soft waist of the girl in his arms, rolling and securing her to the carpet beneath him, lowering his head and kissing her without stopping.
After the kiss, Severo Laris pinched her face and teased her playfully, “Paula Rouco, how did you manage to seriously seduce me and still justify it?”
Paula Rouco: “The first essential of being a Mrs. Laris is that reason is not straight.”
Severo Laris looked at her lips and his heart fluttered, and he found it hard to restrain himself from lowering his head and continuing the kiss, replying indulgently, “Mmm, Mrs. Laris, you win.”
Had Paula Rouco’s stomach not roared intemperately twice in the middle, Severo Laris would have done her justice on the carpet.
Severo Laris set himself on fire and took it to the kitchen to cook for Mrs. Laris.
Paula Rouco was sitting nicely on the couch, snapping her chips as if she had done nothing.
Severo Laris, while frying eggs in the open kitchen, looked at Paula Rouco and finally beckoned, “Lita, come here.”
Paula Rouco, clutching her bag of chips, climbed onto the couch, much taller than Severo Laris, who was standing on the flat floor. “What?”
Severo Laris reached across the back of the couch and wrapped an arm around the crook of her leg. Paula Rouco unconsciously wrapped her arms around his neck and hung her whole head on the floor over his shoulder.
Paula Rouco’s legs spontaneously and automatically curled around his waist, and her body slid back in front of him, hugging his neck and arching her head to look at the golden fried egg frying in the pan.
“I’m hungry.”
Severo Laris picked up a stick of freshly fried egg and popped it into his mouth. Paula Rouco ate it in one hot bite.
For a while, she didn’t know what to do if she couldn’t swallow it and couldn’t spit it out.
Severo Laris pressed her against the kitchen table and kissed her, taking the food out of her mouth.
The kisses, which made the burning mouth, also became less painful.
