Chapter 949: To Death 1
After dinner, Severo Laris picked up the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.
I was about to grab a rag and wipe the table when I was hugged by a soft little thing behind me.
“Why are you ignoring me, did I piss you off by bringing up Dr. Bail’s number?”
Severo Laris frowned slightly, hiding all emotion from his gaze, and took her small hand around his waist with his big one, saying, “I’m not angry.”
Paula Rouco clung to him.
Severo Laris looked down at the little thing that had been tucked between his arms and gave him a little headache as he tried to get rid of it, get Albarran Bail off the blacklist and call Albarran Bail.
Paula Rouco looked up at him with her little face, “Will you hurry up and finish clearing the table?”
“What’s wrong?”
Paula Rouco arched into his arms and wrapped her little arms around his waist, “I want you to kiss me and hold me.”
Severo Laris’ heart skipped a beat and he threw the rag away, washed his hands in the sink and suddenly reached down, grabbing her in an embrace.
Paula Rouco asked with almond-shaped, glassy eyes, “Are you done cleaning?”
Severo Laris said decisively and dryly as he pulled her up, “No more rubbing, go take a shower.”
As she approached the couch, Severo Laris picked up a box of condoms.
…
In the bathroom, the bathtub overflowed with water.
The seven years’ difference was enough for their feelings for each other to burn at the first touch.
The room was full of sparks, as if a pool of water was going to burn.
In the heat of the moment, Severo Laris’ dark eyes opened and he looked deeply at the beautiful porcelain-white girl in his arms, her voice whispering in his ear, “lita.”
Paula Rouco’s watery, misty eyes looked up at him and said, word for word, “Severo Laris, you are mine and you cannot be in cahoots with anyone to intimidate me.”
Severo Laris hugged her tightly and attacked the city, not bothering to look her in the eye.
Disturbing a pool of water.
…
It was two hours later when I came out of the bathroom.
Paula Rouco was wrapped in a bath towel and carried out of the bathroom by Severo Laris.
A little tired, she leaned back in Severo Laris’ arms and allowed him to take a dry towel and wipe her hair.
Paula Rouco is extraordinarily bored, staring at Severo Laris’ chest, her slender fingers of lush white softness poking Severo Laris’ chest.
Severo Laris tried several times to say something but nothing came out, he looked down at the girl in his arms and looked down and kissed her forehead and eyes. “Are you tired?”
Paula Rouco shakes her head.
Severo Laris hugged her, half leaned against the bed, picked up the copy of Hans Christian Andersen’s Fairy Tales from the bedside table and asked, “What do you want to hear today?”
Paula Rouco leaned back in his arms and closed her eyes, “The King’s New Clothes.”
Severo Laris’ low, magnetic voice, like a lullaby, tells fairy tales as it caresses her back and lulls her to sleep.
Before long, Paula Rouco, dazed and half asleep, murmured with her eyes closed, “None of us can see the new clothes the king is wearing, I can.”
Severo Laris rubbed his head against her little face and smiled fondly, “That means Lita is wise.”
“Does it matter whether the king has clothes or not? It’s good that he’s happy.”
Severo Laris’ mind wandered a little, “Well, it’s good that he’s happy.
Just as she can see the little bean sprouts, no one else can, in fact … what’s the harm.
As long as she’s happy.
Severo Laris, do you want to make Paula Rouco suffer for the rest of her life?”
Severo Laris closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
Paula Rouco was sound asleep and her voice was a little milky, “Severo, the last time I saw Little Beanstalk’s school bag it was dirty, she’s been carrying that red backpack for a long time and Little Beanstalk’s mom won’t even give her a new one.”
Severo Laris sketched a sincere smile and said, “Maybe Little Beanstalk’s mom was too busy to care.”
Paula Rouco snuggled into his arms and said with her eyes closed, “Then next time we’ll buy the little beanstalk a new backpack as a present for him.”
“Fine.”
Severo Laris resisted.
Slowly, Paula Rouco fell asleep in his arms.
Severo Laris gently moved his arm away from the back of her neck.
Paula Rouco leaned her body a little and her small hand came up and covered the back of his hand.
Severo Laris sat on the edge of the bed, gently removed her hand and tucked her in, before, cell phone in hand, getting up and going to the study.
…
Paula Rouco was drifting off to sleep when she thought she heard her cell phone ringing.
She reached out and touched her side; Severo Laris was not there.
Opening her eyes, she picked up the cell phone on the bedside table and saw the caller ID: Little Beanstalk.
He immediately woke up, sat up with his phone and took the call.
“Little Beanstalk?”
Little Beanstalk over there yelled, “Sister Paulita, Mommy’s gone, Sister Paulita, doesn’t Mommy want Little Beanstalk anymore?”
Paula Rouco frowned, “Mommy’s gone, could it be that Mommy’s gone on a business trip?”Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
“Sister Paulita, I can’t find my mom, I came to La Ciudad Santa to see Sister Paulita. ”
Paula Rouco’s heart skipped a beat: “Bud, you…. where are you now man?”
The sprout choked up and said, “Sister Paulita, I’m at the airport in The Holy City, can you come pick me up?”
Paula Rouco hurriedly got up, casually put on some clothes and said to the little bean on the other end of the phone, “Frijolito, stay at the airport, I’m on my way, you must be good and stay alone, and don’t hang up the phone.”
“Sister Paulita, I am waiting for you”.
Paula Rouco lacked time to find Severo Laris and hurried down the stairs. There were many car keys in the lobby and she casually grabbed those of a model with which she was relatively familiar.
Paula Rouco rushes out of the villa courtyard in her white Porsche.
…
Inside the studio, Severo Laris called Albarran Bail immediately after taking him off the blacklist.
Albarran Bail was going crazy over there: “Severo Laris, we agreed to take Paula Rouco to the hospital today, where are you now? I tried to call you and I can’t get through”.
Severo Laris explained, “Iita took my phone and deleted your number. I just put her to sleep.
Albarran Bail frowned and asked, “When exactly are you going to take her to the hospital?”
Severo Laris pursed his thin lips and spoke cautiously, “Come when she’s a little more asleep.”
He didn’t want her to be taken to the hospital when she was awake because he believed it would undermine her pride and self-esteem.
He fell asleep and was taken to the hospital, so it probably would have been better.
He would feel better too, at least he wouldn’t see her struggling to resist.
Severo Laris hung up the phone and got up to wipe his face, full of exhaustion.
He was also fooling himself, fooling himself by telling himself that as long as he didn’t see her resisting, didn’t see her crying and begging for herself, it meant she wasn’t suffering.
Severo Laris calmed down for a good while and calmed down a bit before leaving the study.
But as soon as he returned to the bedroom, he found that Paula Rouco was not in bed.
With a chill in his heart, Severo Laris hurried to call Paula Rouco.
The phone rang for a long time before it was picked up.
Severo Laris asked anxiously, “Lita, where have you been?”
Paula Rouco over there, driving a flying car, incoherent: “Severo, the little bean has come to La Ciudad Santa to see me, she’s alone at the airport, I’m worried, I’m going to pick her up, Severo, I stop talking to you for now, the little bean has called me…. …”
